That way people newer to 4x4ing will get a sense of your vehicle & its capabilities. Thanks
Gotcha, makes sense. I was looking for an overall ability of the truck - and it sounds like it might be considered a 3.5 overall - that is if I get lockers.
Anywhere, from mud to rock to sand. Was just trying to get a sense of capability. Sounds like the driver has a lot to do with it. And it sounds like the truck as is would do fine, but it would be nice to have some front lockers. Other than that feel like it should be ok.
Okay thanks @FitfulGoat . I have the mopar lift now - so hopefully that will help. And yes, I purchased soft shackles and a few recovery straps. So sounds like to round it out, it would be nice to have locker. Any advise on lockers, brands?
By the way the 80th edition comes with Trac-Lok®...

Why would someone want a 392 hemi Gladiator when there is a diesel gladiator? Who wants 10 miles to the gallon? Wouldn't the next logical step be electric? I actually have the gladiator diesel coming from a V8 Camaro. And I have to say, it was the right purchase for me. I get 18 miles to the...
Wow, there is a big difference between the stock diesel & the Mopar lift. Hitting dips is much better than slamming into them with a stock suspension 😕. Honestly did not know it was such a better upgrade than I thought. 😬
I have the 80th Diesel with 37s - I ripped out inner wheel well liners & it was fine to drive - except the front bumper grinds on the tires :( -- its really annoying. I grinded down the cheap front bumper plastic & it still hits a bit of metal that is under the plastic. I finally broke down &...
I ended up going with Mopar as it is the only one that says it is specifically for Diesel. But now I need to know the additional parts I should purchase. Believe it may be front & rear trackbars. Is there anything else that can be recommended?
Any word on a specific diesel lift kit? Can anyone advise which lift kit is best for the extra weight of the diesel along with a steel bumper & winch? Like the idea of adjustable shocks, but are there any out there? Guessing it would be nice to adjust for the street VS towing VS crawling, etc...
I was always wondering does the basic gladiator need a lift right away with 37s. The answer is Not necessarily.
IF:
You rip out the inner liners & do something like American Adventure lights & inner fenders, which gives you more space.
And the stock bumper should probably be replaced with a...

When doing a simple search:
"2021 jeep gladiator towing capacity"
you'll find car and drive gives 4,000-4,500 max towing for the diesel. And on Jeep.com's own site when you do a comparison it says towing capacity 4,000lbs.
Where is there a reliable source? I have...
