  4. Bigger Tires on Stock Wheels

    Well, I guess it is up to me to blow up this thread. Jumped to 37x12:50-17s on the stock Mojave wheels about 4 months ago. Discount Tire installed them, no problem. Been out trail beating several times, no issues. I Am running an AEV 2" with correction brackets. Installed that before the 35s.

    I relocated the reservoir shocks to the back side of my steel bumper, using Fox relocation brackets. Not my first choice, but it was fairly easy, and not obtrusive. Skid plate install was a piece of cake once the shocks were moved I will shoot some pics when I get home from the holidays

    I have that one on my JK. Uses the factory Fob and works great.

    I did the AEV kit, and added the geometry correction brackets. Local 4x4 shop installed it for $495, including alignment, in and out in 3 hours. And, I agree, it rides and drives BETTER than factory. Running 35X12:50 on factory wheels. No rub, at all.

    I ordered my Mojave, went factory LED. ALL of the bulbs are LED and factory warranted.

    Yeah, my rule of thumb is, if I have an OEM part in my hand, it gets replaced with a better aftermarket part.
