Dang, hate to here that. Mine has been good. Had issues with ticking during light acceleration. Been in shop 5-10 time and they said it is what it is basically. Normal noise. 108K and still going strong. I will update my pics soon.
what did he use? I have a set of Wheels and doors about to powder coat for a customer and i have tried so many samples to get a close match. It tried the green candle and lollypop red and was to dark.
well noise has gotten worse and this summer had a different dealer check it and they said it was normal and pre-detonation is the reason. Yeah, really don't think so.

Even running the fuel suggested (Shell 93 can't think of the others, but Shell is the only one near me) the noise is still there. There is something internally wrong with these motors. Trust me, I will keep bugging them until a fix.

They have checked all that, even changed oil specifically to see if that helped in the beginning of issue. Received call from Jeep Cares today, just waiting on call from dealer to figure out field tech coming. Then Dealer says same thing, trying to get up with the other. Phone tag!

Probably 4-5 weeks or more since last Dec ā19. Been waiting since Nov 23 for what Chryslerās next step will be. Said they are sending a field tech out. Guess they canāt find one. Very frustrating!!!
That what I keep waiting on. I have put 22k miles on it since I 1st complained to Jeep about it. At this rate it will 60k miles before they figure this out.
