Bestop Sunrider Twill purchased in January of this year. Installed for about a month and removed. Sold the JT and no longer need. Looking for $600 obo pick up only in Fairmont, WV
So I’m at day 35 out of service. Spoke to the service manager this evening and he said they adjusted the timing and adjusted the cam starting degree then performed an ECU adaptive relearn. They have put about 75 additional miles on it and no misfires yet. Has anyone else had this done as a “fix” ?
I’m in a similar situation. Left side 2,4,6 145,150,150 was off compared to the right side 1,3,5 160,165,167. I was told there had to be a timing issue somewhere and this is why they had them pull the oil control valves, VVT and cam phaser. I’m not a mechanic by any means but, that’s a 13.2%...

Thanks for the clarification. Not sure if you can provide any details regarding your buyback price or not, but if you can, was it based off of msrp or what you actually paid (fees, TTL, etc). Just trying to see what my options may be done the road.
Sorry to hear that. It seems the way they are handling most cases (including yours) is utterly ridiculous. What you got offered is down right insulting.
I’m working on CEL number two for the same issues. My Jeep has been at the dealer for a week and FCA just now replied to the dealership after...
well... that would be the logical and ethical thing to do if that were the case. However, that’s costly and most likely won’t happen. They’ll let this drag on and deal with it on a case by case basis.
Might as well add myself to this thread. I’m also a member of the p0300 club. First CEL on around 900 miles. Had the software update that was supposed to fix the issues. CEL #2 at 1290 miles. Dealership can’t replicate after clearing the code and has now opened up a STAR case. I’m not very hopeful.
