I am going to be trading in my JT soon, and It seems like the aftermarket additions don't really calculate into the price much, so I am looking for someone to take them off my hands and recoup some of the cost to go towards the JLU version of the same rock rails for the new JLU I have on order...
I caved on my baser instincts and ordered a '23 Reign JLU Willy's. I'll miss my JT, but the last 3 years has shown me that I didn't have need of a truck, just cargo room, and the JLU with the backseat folded has more room than the Gladiator bed does (and it's interior not exterior). So, once...
The dealer won't know until the website has updated, at least that's my guess. Mine told me as much when I asked about color and feature availability for 2023.
I'm a little bummed on no reign, but might go for punk'n. I missed out on being able to order a punk'n JT in 2020 by 2 weeks, and by the only ones in the lot within 500 miles of me was for more options than I wanted, I settled for my granite crystal.
I really hope they are wrong on those dates...
I think until the website updates Gladiator for 2023, we aren't gonna have a concrete ideas of colors. Even the Wrangler didn't have the new ones when orders first opened, from what I've been reading.
If Reign is offered, I'm definitely gonna be trading in my '20 Rubicon. I'll just be sure to strip the stuff I added to bolt right onto the '23 Willy's I'd get to replace it.
Wonder what I can talk them into trade-in for a 2020 Granite Rubicon with less than 9k miles on it? Was only commuting...
Good to see the bed can handle it well. Gonna be bringing a new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 home next weekend, and I've never loaded a bike in my JT yet. I'll have to pickup some heavier duty ratchet straps though. I don't trust the ones I have with that much weight.
I was just answering someone who asked about the sliders I have on my JT. Looks like I got them at the right time, as I ordered mine at the end of April, 2021 and paid $787 (with a free shipping coupon), and as of today 12/14/21, they are listed at $1240. That's a pretty big increase for 7-8...
Just used it the first time. It's very unclear what's the flashing hazards means, because it didn't start flashing until I'd already been filling the tire for a few seconds. I got the honk on 2 tires, and no honk on the other two, and all 4 overshot the target by 1-2 psi.
Maybe my shop...
I think I am gonna do the same. Tried it with my 1/2" breaker bar with a 3" extension, and i was putting almost my full weight into pulling it (feet against my front tire) and it didn't budge more than an turn or so. I need a longer bar, or a piece of 3/4" galvanized pipe for an extension.
It is there in the model list for the cover, although the rack doesnt have it listed specifically. It appears the rack is just a standard length/width and has a few options in height.
So I have been on the fence about a bed cover for a while now. The problem is that I want the durability of a hard cover, but still want the capability of putting a rack on it. I was eyeing the Diamondback HD cover, but the lack of rack options for it has kept me from pulling the trigger on...
