  1. Still f*** no

Not everything but cars? Yeah, both are 'ours' for sure and both are driven / owned / paid for by both of us.
  2. Still f*** no

Totally off topic but... but.. I have to ask: is the 'my car / her car' really a thing for some married folks? Like, you would never drive 'her' car and 'she never drives my car' thing?
  3. Kentucky 2021 Overland EcoDiesel - Nicely Upgraded and Ready to Go

Thanks for your reply. It's absolutely clear from your posts here and the video why you made the call to part ways with your Gladiator and there is absolutely no need for negative comments towards you to be posted here. What's unfortunate, however, is that a prospective buyer will probably...
  4. Kentucky 2021 Overland EcoDiesel - Nicely Upgraded and Ready to Go

Haha! So is it 'really' ready to go? From your YT video that just posted it seems like the dealer does NOT want to do this repair and will procrastinate for as long as they can. One can only wonder if the post on their website is to entertain the potential buyers who will have to wait for the...
  5. Positives and Negatives of buying a new 2020 JTR

I've been eyeing a number of leftover MY2020 in my area since about March. Have been sending messages every month until about May offering an aggressive offer (discount amounting to about 20% off the sticker but would probably settle for 17 - 18%). The counter offers I have received amounted to...
  6. Gladiator Rubicon 4xe Hybrid Teased!

Yes, 7,500 federal. Plus whatever your state offers. More info here: https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/taxevb.shtml
  7. Anyone gotten any Jeep email lately?

This is the first time I ever got something after signing in back in March. Sadly, I don't think I will be using it as my hopes for getting a killer deal on a leftover 2020 (yep, still plenty on the lots around me, including a few spec'ed exactly how I would want them) are slim to none. Not sure...
  8. Anyone gotten any Jeep email lately?

Last one I received from May 5 with a $1000 bonus cash (to be used until June 30).
  9. What price shenanigans have you seen dealerships do?

About the current state of the used car prices.... Used 2020 Mojave with 3,726 miles and a sticker price of 51,370. Based on pics, looks completely stock. Yet, the dealer has it listed for... $52,000. Who in their right mind would pay that? I mean... c'mon...
  10. Incentives for May 2021 (Memorial Day Event Updates)

First time I checked it was just minutes past midnight Eastern time on 5/18 and there were no incentives posted. Now, there is actually 1,250 cash back on Overland, High Altitude, and Rubicon, and $750 cash back on all remaining trims. This is for MD. Still, it represents the $250 cut from what...
  11. Incentives for May 2021 (Memorial Day Event Updates)

Yep, they sure did cut the incentives for the remainder of the month. Bummer.
  12. Scored a good deal off the lot!

Not to split hairs, but after adding the processing/tire fee (but before taxes/reg), the OP paid 51,050. (50,651+399). With an MSRP of 57,500, the actual discount amounts to 11.22% (51,050/57,500).
  13. Incentives for May 2021 (Memorial Day Event Updates)

I 'signed up' on Jeep.com I think back in March where some folks on here indicated that doing so gives them an instant $500 coupon via email. In the end, I never received anything in March and April until today (coupon is good until 6/3).
  14. Incentives for May 2021 (Memorial Day Event Updates)

Around where I am, it's $1000 off for all trims, except Overland, Rubicon, and High Altitude - those three get $1500 rebate. I also just got an email with a $1000 personal coupon for any 2020 and 2021 Jeep vehicle. I understand this coupon would stack with the 'general' incentive?
  15. Criswell Jeep Gaithersburg, MD

I am not saying the shortage is not real but... since you're in MD just check the jeep.com for a current Gladiator inventory around you. Just within 100 miles there are 783 MY2021 and 63 (!) MY2020 on dealers' lots. Is this what you would call a 'shortage'? If so, what's the 'healthy' number to...
  16. Criswell Jeep Gaithersburg, MD

Just noticed that about a week ago they cut their advertised discount on all of the Gladiators in stock. They used to list almost all of their 2021 stock with discount ranging from 7k to 8k (depending on trim/model). Plus the usual freight (1500) and dealer fee (500) but still. Now, all they...
  17. Dealers sticking to prices more?

What's the MSRP of the one you got (if you don't mind sharing)? Interested to see the actual percentage discount you were able to secure. Thanks!
  18. Dealers sticking to prices more?

Yep, things are getting crazy: one dealer in my area with a "new" 2020 Gladiator (still) on the lot (has been sitting there since October 2019; has 2000+ miles (!) on the odometer) has been offering to sell it for less than 8 percent off of the MSRP. Right... Just today I noticed they removed...
  19. Dealers sticking to prices more?

Haha! AndI am sure I have contacted most of them trying to 'score' one at an unprecedented discount... Just like you said, they are NOT budging and I cannot figure out what's their thinking.... Do they plan to eventually sell them as 'used' at an auction hoping to get top $ for them? Crazy times...
  20. Dealers sticking to prices more?

https://www.autoblog.com/2021/04/26/dealership-profits-car-shortage/ And yet last time I checked, there is still PLENTY (126) MY2020 on the dealers' lots within 150 of my location. And trust me; they are not exactly 'flying off the lot'. Yet almost all of the dealers I contacted about getting...
