I'd probably go gladiator or jl until the bugs are worked out of the bronco. Get a jeep and if you fall in love stick with it. If not you can look at a bronco that has been updated down the line. I loved my gladiator but had to have a bigger truck for work and ended up with a Power wagon...
Think he was just referring to the current availability part. Good that there service department is quick. King is apparently not so quick. Wish falcon made shocks for the power wagon.
I have seen lifted Mojaves with regular shocks(which is stupid) so you should be able to find something that will fit while you get your shocks serviced. If you have a decent 4 wheel drive shop in your area then give them a shout. I do know a guy who had fox remote reservoir shocks on a ram...
Not sure where in Georgia you are but i have some rubicon take offs and teraflex leveling kit if you are interested. A rubi with fender chop can squeeze 37s in but it's tight. You would be better off with 35s if you don't want to deal with gears.
I ended up in a similar situation where I realized I needed more space for kids and having a bigger truck bed for a change in my work would be really helpful. I was lucky that no accident was involved(hope all is well) and got offered a crazy trade in with 22,000 miles on my rubicon. I picked up...
I got Lower then average mpg and my buddy with a twin to mine averaged about 3 to 4 mpg better then me. He lives on a nice flat road and my neighborhood is all hills until you get to the main highway. He came and stayed with me for two weeks while they were doing construction on his house and...
If your in a rural area you will want a longer antenna. Metro area drivers don't notice much deterioration with a stubby. Haven't seen one break on a trail but have seen one go through a car wash and get pushed against the windshield frame and rub paint off. It's easy to pull off in either...
Chances are it's just because it's new and you haven't gotten used to it yet. If you haven't had another vehicle with a manual 4wd shifter recently it just seems excessive at first. It will get easier as it breaks in.
0 will stick out further then +18. The bigger the +# the less poke you will have. So +44 will be less poke then +22 and keeps counting down to 0 then the negative numbers poke further and further out. 0 will be about what your current setup looks like and anything negative would be even further out.
You can add Mojave shocks to a rubicon without affecting warranty but if you add a locker to a Mojave you might have warranty issues. Obviously there are other differences but if you aren't planning to jump it this is something to consider.
It really varies dealer to dealer. Mine said as long as I didn't go forced induction, engine swap or axel swap then we were all good. If you have multiple options in your area do research on the dealers before you take it in.
Unfortunately their customer service has kept me away from them after a buddies bad experience and if you look on the forum it seems he wasn't alone. Hopefully op has good luck and they have improved their powdercoating and R&D.
I needed more space for kids and work and they offered me more then i paid for my rubicon almost two years earlier so I understand the thought process but I dont think that truck would be the way I would go. Only reason I did it was because I got a great deal on a Power wagon which was another...
Rubicon shocks and front springs plus Teraflex 1.5 leveling kit. If you have a max tow your rear springs should be good. Were on the truck for 3000 miles or so. Clearing up space. $275
Will throw some pics up when back at the house.
