The stinger has a full 15 band equalizer allowing you to find tune the audio, something the Uconnect does not. That's probably the biggest change, yes it can sound better.
I have had this installed for about 7 months, there is nothing wrong with the radio, I replaced it with an Android HU.
I am asking $950 850 shipped. The Heigh10 will come with all the original wiring to complete the installation
I completed the installation. The installation required more 6 an hose and a 1/8" NPT to 6 AN fitting for the pressure sender tap. The system functions without leaking (so far). I don't expect leaking from the pressure sender tap or hose ends since these are all standard "NPT" or "AN" hardware...
I know this isn't the first bypass install but I took a little different approach so I am creating a new thread.
I didn't like the oil filter supply tap so I decided on the pressure sender tap. This is a cleaner install IMHO. However, the elbow fitting included with the tap kit doesn't fit...
I am selling my OEM High Altitude front seats. They are leather with heat. I replaced these almost immediately after purchase with Recaros. I've been hanging on to them in case I sell the Gladiator but I'm moving and eliminating excess stuff.
The seats are in great shape. I am sure shipping...
This has been a nuisance for me but I have found the visor still works for 90%+ of my needs, I just need to pivot the mirror out of the way. I would like to have a smaller mirror, the size is unnecessary for the Jeep. Unfortunately, the front cam has limited line of sight around the adaptive...
This head unit has been the best option I've found. It's only been one week, but I will share my findings.
For context, I originally had the Uconnect 8.4", Insane Audio JL3001, and most recently the Stinger Heigh 10. I had been running a magic box (android unit) on the Uconnect and Stinger...
I received the device and I have some integration work to do. The Android experience is superior to my Stinger+ Magicbox(Android piggyback). The backup camera is not yet working, and I lost the factory selection menu (Aux switch controls and other settings). The HVAC UI works great.
The first...
I've casually been researching the feasibility of retrofitting the 2024 dash but haven't had the time to pull everything together. The primary purpose is the new head unit; I don't particularly like that the head unit runs the Uconnect OS. I'd much rather have Android, where I can use apps...
