  1. Minnesota New OEM Ecodiesel Turbo Gladiator/Wrangler

Ugh, I missed the most important part. $1,000.
  2. Minnesota New OEM Ecodiesel Turbo Gladiator/Wrangler

$1,000 I purchased this with intentions to replace my failing turbo but ended up having more severe problems and had a new crate engine installed. I purchased the turbo 10 months ago from a dealer and have some of the gaskets required for replacement. I could not find all gaskets at the time...
  3. P00AF - The Journey

The one I purchased from him does not have actuator location feedback. You might raise that to ith him to ensure you don't receive something that causes more problems.
  4. POOAF Code on 2023 Ecodiesel New Turbo on the Way,

That's a shame, I am sorry you had the shitty experience. On an average basis the Jeep dealers are among the worst I have experienced of any automotive brand. From capability to care to how they treat things/people, they are bottom of the barrel in my humble opinion. Hopefully you can get some...
  5. '21 Ecodiesel Warranty Replacement - 50k miles

I provided them details for the last 4 oil changes for roughly 20k miles
  6. '21 Ecodiesel Warranty Replacement - 50k miles

Agreed. If i wasn't anticipating a $30k+ bill going in I would have been more resistant. All the other dealer experiences trained me to be happy someone even took the issues seriously. If they wouldn't have covered it under warranty, I probably would have swapped to a different engine. In any...
  7. '21 Ecodiesel Warranty Replacement - 50k miles

They asked for oil and filter proof. Part numbers to be exact. I track my oil changes in the Jeep app and shared that output. They then requested receipts showing proof of date and part numbers. Luckily, I found a couple of digital receipts showing part numbers and the rest were CC records. I...
  8. '21 Ecodiesel Warranty Replacement - 50k miles

I posted some of this in my P00AF thread but wanted to create a dedicated post to share my EcoDiesel experience. I couldn’t find any documented cases of a Gen3 EcoDiesel replacement, so hopefully this helps others. I truncated the details and story to keep it simple but I am happy to answer...
  9. POOAF Code on 2023 Ecodiesel New Turbo on the Way,

The POOAF code occurs when the requested and actual actuator position is different for something like 10 - 30 seconds. I would think a leaking intake pipe might cause a low boost code. Attached is the diagnostic guide for the POOAF. I would definitely challenge the service manager. Good luck!
  10. P00AF - The Journey

I have the Accuair system which has several wires running into the cab for level sensors, controls, etc. The wiring running along the frame/body and evidently the cap prevented the body from being lifted without adjusting the cap. I am sure most techs are accustomed to working from an explicit...
  11. P00AF - The Journey

My engine has been replaced, they used a full crate engine which included a new turbo. I don't have the root cause details for the turbo but I do know it didn't ingest a foreign object. I had an AFE cone filter that had been cleaned a few times within 25k miles. The dealer tacked on $5,500 in...
  12. P00AF - The Journey

The new actuator significantly reduced the P00AF occurrences by a factor of 10. Ultimately, the turbo failed and I am currently getting the turbo replaced. I doubt the actuator had anything to do with the failure but I noticed an increase in POOAF occurrences in the last ~1,500 miles leading up...
  13. POOAF Code on 2023 Ecodiesel New Turbo on the Way,

It will be interesting to see how your turbo acts after the replacement. My turbo finally failed catastrophically. I could never get a dealer to dig in and diagnose the issue prior to the failure. I took the Jeep to a new dealer and they are replacing under warranty, I should have the Gladiator...
  14. Holy sunroof Batman! Sky365 Glass Sun Roof Panel Test Review

I am disappointed in the wind noise at the leading edge. Installing the Sky365 makes me appreciate the freedom panels. I am also very surprised they didn't use heat rejection tint in the glass, it's much more of a greenhouse than I've experienced with other OEM skyroofs. I considered returning...
  15. P00AF - The Journey

Yeah I always correct for tire size and verify with GPS.
  16. P00AF - The Journey

Here's a unique back to back test with smaller tires. One of my 37" tires failed on a trip and in an emergency I got 32" tires today to get me where I'm going. Not a huge difference for EGT but it does show the tire size impact on engine load. This was while traveling 76mph on flat road with...
  17. P00AF - The Journey

This is pretty typical for me on flat ground no trailer and no major headwind at 76mph
  18. Holy sunroof Batman! Sky365 Glass Sun Roof Panel Test Review

I gave it a shot, and so far, I like the openness it creates. It's louder than my lizard-skinned Mopar deadened freedom panels, but not as loud as a Sunrider or the soft top. It takes some getting used to always having overhead sunlight. It might just be a Minnesota thing.. It doesn't seem as...
  19. P00AF - The Journey

Has your boost settled back to the previous normal?
  20. Overheating & Combustion Gas in Coolant - Head Gasket or EGR?

I’m afraid the answer to my question might be obvious (head gasket leak), but I’m hoping to get some input from others who’ve been through something similar. My 2021 EcoDiesel Gladiator has about 44k miles. Last year, around 35k, the dealer replaced my EGR cooler due to coolant consumption. A...
