Yep...that's it. Was typing on my phone and missed the "s"...;)
This website has the little jeeps same size as on the Rubicon wheels. I had mine on for three years and they proved very durable, even through automated car washes. Highly recommend.
Hey Socks! Good morning...sorry for the late reply. I'm on stock tires on my Mojave and went with the RokBloks Original XL and they've been perfect. Longer would probably be okay but not necessary and they may look too long. I really like mine and if you request it, they'll accent them in...
Hey Ken...congrats on the new JT! You're gonna love it! Like others have said, you likely won't find this to be too much of a problem. You'll be so focused on enjoying your new truck that you won't forget and use the wrong fuel. However, IF you do screw it up and realize your mistake halfway...
Just another journalist sharing their opinion...who cares? Just another data point and often written to get clicks. I like what I like...it's not perfect but nothing ever is. Get one...drive it a while...keep it or get something else.
Overall, nothing to get too excited about...😴
I have the "Original XL" and am VERY pleased with them. I was pretty much anti-flap before this but couldn't stand the amount of crap thrown up on the side with just wet roads after a snow storm. The best part is that they are "quick-release" via thumb screws if I want to go off road.
I...
Exactly my point...even traveling these roads cautiously will lead to the same situation as the OP. It seems like the OP's situation was mainly caused by the original dealer getting ticked off about her leaving so he boned her (so to speak) in the system. Easily could have gone the other way...
By "naysayers" I was referring to those who classify driving the truck through mud puddles as abuse (especially when done so repeatedly). I just don't see much difference between that and traveling on poorly maintained dirt roads when it's raining other than one is for fun and the other is from...
Hey guys...getting here late and still reading through the 18 pages of threads and not intending to point specifically to this post but it seems to be a theme...
Have any of you naysayers ever lived on or had to traverse a lot of gravel/dirt roads? These are actual, mapped roads but they get...
Ashr...I agree that you've been wronged here and I, too, would be pretty torqued off. That said, how far do you want to fight it and still have the result be worth the effort? At this point, I guess I'd pursue some of the fix options passed here, put it back together and forget all about it...
Wow! Two things...1st - why the heck didn't dealership mention this price difference the first time you asked about the problem ($2000 to $400 is a HUGE difference)? 2nd - that still seems WAY too high to replace a rivnut, especially of you've already done the disassembly.
As others have...
Yep...these are definitely not for harsh off-road use. The bottoms of the steps are just aluminum. They'll be fine for regular use but would dent/crush pretty easily if sliding over rocks. Since I don't plan to take my Jeep into severe conditions, they should be fine for me. If not, I...
Agreed! I attempted to provide feedback regarding the need for more harness length and was met with a very lackadaisical attitude. The Amp Rep responded with something along the lines of "...that's how the engineers designed it so it must be good enough". Not sure any of those engineers...
Hey Trent! Glad to hear that you back on track with, what sounds like, a great outcome! Sorry to hear about the back seat issues...was the dealer responsive? If you like, you could try a hair dryer (not a heatgun as they get to hot) and try to warm the leather a bit. Also apply some good...
Wow! That really is BS...be sure you ask to receive their survey. I'll bet you won't be giving they all 10's on this one...
Complete the survey and find a new dealer...
Hey Michael...I think I'd be a bit torqued but mistakes do happen. Maybe consider restraint until you have a chance to discuss with your Service Manager. Who knows, he may be extremely apologetic and willing to do whatever is necessary to make it right. Now, if he goes the other way, all bets...
