depends on tire width, but broadly speaking 35s. If you're off road or making really tight turns you will get some rubbing without a lift, though
Wheel spacers increase the distance from the original mounting area to the wheel, which will also help guard against rubbing on tight turns...
I was driving over a bridge on a highway earlier today and, out of nowhere, the car emergency noises go off and my car coms screeching to a halt. It is a manual so it also stalled out. I went from ~40mph to 0mph in as fast as a gladiator can stop.
Luckily, no one crashed into me and no one...
What kind of gas mileage do you get with the magnuson supercharger (I understand that there are a lot of factors - gearing, wheels, etc - but just want a ballpark)
Thank you
I am considering it now with a 2" lift but would likely move to a 4.10 r/e
Has anyone considered re-gearing the transmission? seems like it favors the higher gears a lot
Thanks @KAT$JT and @AustinL911 for the responses. The variable valve timing change makes sense. it doesn't seem like rev hang because of the consistency and because it happens even without switching gears.
If others aren't experiencing it, have you thought about taking it into jeep for...
I have a small issue and im not sure if it is my particular car or a broader issue with 6-Speed Gladiators.
When I am accelerating through 3rd gear, somewhere around 2700-2800 RPM, the jeep 'jumps' a little every single time. its almost like the gear slips a little. Does anyone else have this...
Maybe a stupid question, but if the gas mileage is so bad without the air dams, why don't they list different gas mileages for the Overland and the Rubicon than they do for the Sport/Sport S?
