OMG. Those slingshots bring back so many memories. We had 13 kids on our street that were all within 2 years of each other in age. We used to use these things and shoot crab apples out of them at each other. A few of us kids were from hunting families, so we'd cover ourselves with thick camo...
Yes, you've made that clear. And that is fantastic you did that. You obviously made great sacrifices in your youth and made it pay off with fantastic outcomes later on in life. But I stand behind what I did for them and I wouldn't change that if I had to do it all over again.
My kids don't...
Yup. I bought the vehicles, they paid for gas and insurance. If they got a ticket or in an accident (that was their fault), they would have to figure out how to cover the costs.
My parents bought me my first vehicle as well. They were teachers and I had Co-op in HS so I had to have a car as...
I gave my son a bunch of options when he turned 16 on his first vehicle. He wanted more then anything in the world a old school S series truck. So I bought him a 2005 ZR2 blazer. Very good shape but it rode like a tank. Those S trucks were pretty basic back in the day.
But it taught him to...
Took the savage 110 High country in 6.5 CM today to the range. .55 inch 5 shot grouping at 100yds in a strong cross wind today. For a factory rifle, it sure is tack driver with factory ammo. I have to imagine it will be better with hand loads.
I really like the machining of the spiral fluting...
All depends on what you use your truck for? You won't be disappointed with BFG AT's (either K02's or K03's.). The really only complaint about BFG, is they run small. My 37's are about 36.5 compared to my old General Grabber 35's which were a true 35" tire.
Yes, they will be so much quieter...
Not sure if this has been posted before and I apologize if it has. But I thought it would be fun to see what trucks people have owned prior to owning your gladiator.
For me, I have owned the following
1987 s10 blazer on 33x10.50R15 BFG MT's, mildly built 4.3V6 (cam, superchips, dual exhaust...
I would only change a few things.
Factory 5.7 hemi, 4:56 gear option, 35 spline axle shafts, warn premium lock out hubs, a 37" tire option, and front and rear mechanical lockers (no E or air lockers for me)
Plus give me the factory soft top in tan to match the heritage tan interior color scheme...
Thanks. I do like it too. You don't have to ask. Just do it. I grew up watching Rod Hall and his dodge's in the Boja 500 / 1000 and Parker 400 and Stroppe bronco's etc. Always liked how they had sponsor decals.
I've used Decal champ and other along with the decals that come in the box with...
Thank you! As far as the 37 goes, it all depends on how far you want the tailgate to open when you lower the mount. It will be touching the tire for sure and will be at a bit of an angle too.
So if you use your bed for hauling large / heavy items, then it will something you will have to...
Do you have pics of the "LYNX"? I'd be curious to see that?
Never seen that before?
I know these things go in and out of stock all the time and even the replacement center caps in both black and chrome see to be out of stock, so I wonder if they have a vendor / supplier issue?
