As a few of you had followed my thread about getting warranty work done and the clear lack of any customer service from Blackhorse, I think I have finally decided to call it quits on trying to pursue getting a warranty claim processed on my classic roll bar that is rusting
This thread was the...
Did a search and didn't come up with anything really. Has anybody used a bed extender like this that fits under a trifold cover? I assume there is some drilling involved but was curious about anybody with experience with them
This RC one looks like its low enough to fit under the tonneau cover...
I did a search, but didn't see anything specific to the max tow fender flares with the extra lip that is on those flares. Does anybody know if the Recon extreme fender extensions / spats fit these flares?
I know you have to order 2 front lefts and 2 front rights and make a series of relief...
Finally got around with the nice weather to install the hinge covers. Went on simple and fit great. I like how they match the cowl covers. Did the hood hinge covers too but forgot to get a pic of them.
Protects the hinges and breaks up the white a bit.
@Threedom, thanks for a great product
I have the key lock and wiper covers installed and just waiting on warmer weather here in Michigan to install the hood and door hinge covers. If they are like the door lock and wiper covers, I will be very happy with them
I bought a blackhorse rollbar back in Sept 2020 and its been great. Noticed 1 section rusting on the back drivers side tube back in Sept of 2022 and reached out to them to ask what the finish warranty was.
They replied and said it was 3 years from date of purchase and just needed original...
Just wanted to let @Threedom and the rest of the forum know what an excellent company and customer service team they have
I had some issues with one of their products and they went above and beyond to make it right.
Thank you Carl for your quick response and dedication to customer service...
Had a popping noise coming from the suspension when turning and a slight articulation from the front end (ie pulling or backing into a driveway etc). Truck drove fine and it didn't happen 100% of the time.
Dealer finally had an opening and got it back today. Looks like all 4 ball joints were...
Prepping the Rock Hard FAD skid for install. Figured I'd paint it to match the Rancho frt and rear diff gliders I have. Base coat done. Need another coat or 2 and then time for install
Got the bumper installed today. Easy and straightforward. Powder coating leaves something to be desired. A couple small spots on edges where there is just primer. Overall happy with it. Just need to decide on a winch now.
Added Beamtech LED headlamp and fog lamp bulbs per Eddie over at Way...
Well, it made 2 years before it started to rust in 1 spot. Contacted Blackhorse and they said its a 3 year fit and finish warranty. Just needed to supply them my purchase receipt, pics of rust and Jeep VIN number. Totally covered.. Problem is they don't know when they'll have a new bar in...
Anybody going? I did this academy last year and a buddy bought a new Jeep this past summer and asked me to take my jeep again with him so he wasn't alone.
Just wondering if anybody else from the forum will be there
It was a blast last year. Especially the Thursday date as the park was closed...
I know some of you have seen my posts where my son and I do WWII re-enactments. We have a matching serial number M1 garand that was manufactured in April of 44 and shipped to England in May of 44 and the trail goes dead there. Was it used in D-Day, who knows, but its a awesome shooting rifle...
What a cool and simple mod. Took all of about 20 mins and 10 of that was trying to disconnect the inline from the rosebud / fir tree clip next to / under the brake controller to tie the "T-fitting connector" into.
The grommets and fittings fit perfectly into the grill inserts. One thing that...
Finally getting around to installing my Xmas present from the wife and kids. So far got the fronts done. I like the way the Diver Down neoprene seat covers fit so far. Wil do the rears tomorrow.
Been on a bucket list of mine since I bought my wife (haha) her Ruger 77 Varmint 223 so she had a reason to goto the range with me back in 1999. Fast forward to Nov 2021. 3 dads with 3 High School senior boys got to talking and the boys wanted to do a hunting trip vs their HS senior trip...
Just did a quick test fit. Would need some adjustments if the doors were off. Overall looks like a quality product. Since I can't fit in the garage like I did with my JKUR, this was the only thing that I could think of that wouldn't make me put the doors and top back on after every day of nice...
What the hell is up with this? 20K miles and the factory bumper insert around the tow hook is rusting. Same on the passenger side where I added a 2nd hook. Only had to cut out the plastic and no metal cutting for that one.
Anybody else have this?
Anybody know if this top fits with the factory soft top in the "closed" position? I can't fit in the garage due to my KC lights on the rollbar but would like to keep the doors off and back window and rear surrounds off if possible. I know Mastercraft and others, they say the soft top has to be...
Has anybody mounted a Warn 8274 on a gladiator and if so which mount? I have one offered to me and at a good price and wondering if anybody makes a mount to fit it or is it too much of a dinosaur to try and make work
