  2. 3D Printed Steps (PETG - Carbon Fiber)

I always wanted to make a set similar to those in steel. With a set screw to hold them in place and easy enough to remove for wheeling.

We call our GSP the supervisor. Always in the shop with me. She is our fifth. Our first one was always with me when I was working. He would slide under the ā€˜56 when I was under it. Our third one decided to help me with the pressure switch on our well pump. Knocked the wrench out of my hand...
  5. Harbor Freight Jacks/Stands Sale

Okay, their new 6 ton ā€˜off road’ jackstands seem like a bad idea. They are fine if used with some intelligence but when Bubba tries to use them on less than stable ground, we might see some Darwinism in action.
  6. Harbor Freight Jacks/Stands Sale

If used properly and within their limits, the stands are okay. Can’t say that I own any but I have used some cheap Jack stands that were just fine (used on level solid concrete). They are inanimate chunks of steel. That being said, I have $400 OTC jack stands for big equipment. I do use their...
  7. Squirrely Willys

As Joe said, you can’t go wrong with Michelins unless you are going off road. I have never been a fan of Fire/Bridgestone on pickups, won’t run them. My trail tires are Nitto Trail Grapplers but my daily road tire is a Yoko Geolander. They are a bit stiff because of the 10 ply rating but not...
  8. You guys want to see something cool?

ā€˜You guys wanna see something cool’ I was expecting a ā€˜Here hold my beer’ picture/video. Well, welcome Matt. Get a set of take off tires and wheels like Chris said and then take it off road (street tires are too thin for rocks etc. ). Then decide on what mods you need.

I’m having a Canadian barbecue today. Threw my steaks on a plate on the deck to slow smoke all day.

  11. Hotshots killing MPG

I ran a fleet of 50 buses for the last 20 years and that is not a brand that I have ever heard of. Sounds like snake oil to me. If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. Stick with known industry leaders like Amsoil, Lucas, Howes etc.. There are 2 types of fuel additives, the cheap ones...
  12. Looking for ditch lighting illumination ideas…

šŸ”¦ I once drove a Model A with a Maglite hanging from outstretched arms out both doors. Car had no front end or fenders and it was late by time we got the engine in and running. Of course we had to test drive it!

Tiny robots that will detach once stateside to infiltrate the US.

Does it have air brakes? They look like air blow off valves.
  15. Mystery part

Charcoal to cut down the diesel smell, I bet. Probably work better in high smog areas etc.
  16. Thank You Veterans!

Thank you to all of our current duty service members and Veterans for making these 250 years possible!!
  17. 3B Eureka Springs Trail Report - Exhaust Damage on Rubicon

Bad things happen when you don’t expect them. Like when you walk a bad section of trail and are worried about a big obstacle and overlook an 18ā€ rock mid trail. I hate stumps. Found Jericho in NH to be full of them.
