OP here. Windshield #4 spontaneously cracked this morning. Just scheduled another replacement. I requested gorilla glass in the foolish and naĆÆve hope that it might last more than 5 months than each of my other OEM windshields. Glad i have the zero deductible replacement.
39K in 14 months. Zero issues. No additives. All oil and fuel filter changes and other service (including recall) by dealer under Jeep Cares. Liked their work and happy attitude so much I bought their package for another 3 oil changes for $225, which is way cheaper than doing it myself.
I've put 35.6K miles on my diesel Glady in 13 months. I scheduled my 4th oil change at 2 different dealers in Northern Utah in the past week. Learned that Jeep Cares covers the first 3 changes but I'll have to pay for the 4th. But neither dealer had the 68507598AA filter in stock, none were...
The Weathertechs are great for OEM tires. But if youāre mounting any tires wider than 285mm and want to avoid throwing mud and rocks due to the poke, go with XL RokBlox. After my daughter took delivery on a bone stock 21 Wrangler, I swapped my front flaps out and gave her the Weathertechs, which...
Just read all 19 pages. š My takeaway is that Iām not going to make any mods for now, other than update my Tazer so I have the option of manually controlling my fan. And I learned a new word, farkle.
It was the first thing I disabled after I installed my Tazer JL mini, even before recalibrating for my 35ās. Iāll still shut manually down for long lights, but no more 2-5 second kill/starts.
Back in March I had to make a lot of calls to find the Mopar 2ā diesel lift kit. I got the last one in the state of Utah. The dealer knocked 10% off the list price. I called different dealers for installation and found one willing to do it for $450, including alignment. I didnāt add any pucks or...
I have 11K on my diesel and love it. The low end grunt when wheeling in Moab or pulling my boat out of the water is worth it. The higher mpg is a bonus but I didnāt buy it for that reason, since Iāll have to put 200K on it to approach break even. I went from a 2016 F350 powerstroke to my Glady...
Re front end drop: Not that I've noticed. I had the Mopar lift for the diesel (stiffer springs than in the gasser lift) installed less than a week before, then had the 35's mounted the day before I put on the bumper. I was still getting used to the 4" rise. So it's hard for me to judge whether...
WeatherTech Part Numbers 110097 and 120113 are a perfect fit for the Willys https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/weathertech-mud-flaps.25578/page-5#post-671889
Canyonlands NP requires a day-use permit for Elephant Hill (in Needles). You can try online 24 hours in advance or check with the NPS office in Moab. Don't drive all the way to Needles without one.
Today I removed the stock plastic bumper, dug out the LED fog lights and wiring harness, then mounted EAG's heavy duty bumper with Billet 4x4 OD Green shackles and a Damon hawser fairlead (in OD Green, natch). I also mounted a Zeak 13,000 lb winch and am still deciding whether and where to...
I spent the 3d round of stimulus payments (and then some) on Mopar's 2" lift (diesel p/n 77072469AC) and 315/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTechs mounted on Black Rhino Abams in OD Green. With an -.18 backset on the Abrams, these 35's have a serious amount of poke. All of the guys at the tire shop...
OP here with an update. I drove to Denver yesterday and outside of Rawlings I caught a rock while passing a semi. Major cracks in my line of sight. My insurance approved a replacement with zero deductible and Safelite had an OEM in stock (because the original one worked so well š¤Ŗ). I guess my...
Jeez, Rick. I've ordered my Black Rhino Abams in OD Green last week and I'm still waiting for them. I get a little twitchy when seeing your new shoes. I've got permits for Elephant Hill, Devil's Pocket, and the White Rim Trail next month, and I'm looking forward it.
Took Sgt. Glady to the dealer today for my lift install. MY windshield crack had grown by more than a foot in 3 days. I told the service advisor I expected Jeep to replace my windshield under warranty, citing the 2 year gorilla glass language in my new car paperwork packet...
