Slightly off topic but that winch mechanism is uber weak. Mine stripped the one time I used it. I was like WTF. They need a better system. Other than that I love my 20 rubicon.
Slightly off topic but my rubicon sound system is so stunningly good compared to other vehicles that I have owned to include Ranger rover, Mercedes and Porsche that I still can’t believe it. I have never upgraded a system, but I would see if you can just match the rubicon sound system.
While spot lights are nifty; the most important thing I did was pillar mounted lights angled out at 45 degrees to illuminate the edges and drop offs when I’m back country, especially on roads with big drops. I hate turning without knowing what’s off my edge.
ARE top.
I’m tickled with the truck.
I have owned a 4Runner, FJ40, 2 suburbans, a Tahoe, 1 ranger rover, 3 range rover sports, a wrangler. I love this the most of all. It’s got the best combination of features of all of them.
I’m two months into my order. Should be here in February (+/-). I’ve always had SUVs, including a 4Runner, Tahoe, ranger rover, Range rover sport, and 2 suburbans. I love the gladiator. Best truck I ever owned, but missed having an area to store my hunting gear in the fall, rather than strewn...
Did you just mount them in the existing holes on the steel bumper or did you use something like the Maximus mount.
I can’t really tell from the picture.
All done. KC 6 inch LED slim-lights in center and 3 inch rough country wide angle LEDs set at 45 degrees on pillars. About an extra 28,000 lumens all combined. Should be nice on the farm.
Well, I went with round lights and hung them down from the bull bar. Went with the KC 6 inch LED slim lights. I’ll wire them up in the morning and then adjust.
Just installed my medium Warn bar after work.
So instead of putting some expensive round lights, I am thinking about a light bar. The bars are just a better bang for the buck I think.
I think a 10 inch vs a 20 inch should be sufficient. Going with one that’s more spot focused since my pillar...
I have the falkens and with a load I thought snow was nothing at all. My brother got his 4Runner stuck in a ditch with a heavy trailer with a foot of snow. I put snow chains on the front tires, locked all the differentials and pulled the whole load right out in reverse. I was quite pleased.
Anybody got some sexy photos to share. I’m debating about putting a 10 or 12 bar on the upper rail of my medium height warn hoop.
I wanted originally to go round lights but the freaking light bars just are better technology i’m thinking.
I noticed that some folks bolt spotlights directly into the three Torx screw holes in the upper front of the steel bumper
Lights like the 6" Rigid 360s or the KC Hilites PRO6 LED.
Do you:
1. Just use the existing 45 Torx bolts & run them through the light brackets;
2. Buy another set of...
