I have had a somewhat interesting issue develop, and was hoping to get feedback and input here. I've been to two different Jeep dealerships, with each unsuccessfully diagnosis/fixing my issue. At first, I was experiency a popping issue when turning the vehicle. The first dealership replaced the...
The fact that you've been warned by a moderator for speaking about something that will eventually make owning one of these pointless is hilarious. This is the most important topic on the forum right now. You knock moab, the rest will follow.
This is inherently political, and any deep discussion about it will turn political lol. What I don't understand is, why? Why change it? What's the reason for the closures? Also, I think it would benefit this forum to have a political section for organization purposes against things that will...
In 2020 you could get a striped sport manual for 29k (the base base). I paid 34.5k for my 21 manny sport (that's interest, tax, etc.). It's kind of insane that they sale for anything more than that honestly. They made sense at that price point, as a base sport was better than the Tacoma TRD...
I get where you're coming from, but their attitude is more of a "après moi le déluge" one. This ideology of not caring for the future transcends classes and political ideologies, and can be found in all walks of life. For optics sake, most normal people associate redneck with rural, southern...
I'd disagree, It's mainly the college granola/rei/yuppie crowd at this point. Max patch in 2020 is a great example of them screwing up nature, ironically. I think the shell casings/trash are a symptom of having most your gun ranges being shut down and same with your trails, causing areas to...
Unpopular:
-Base sport, max tow sport, rubi, and Mojave are the only trims that should be sold out of the current line up.
-Coming from a SWE and a controls background, I don't care about any of the electronics in a vehicle that my phone can already do. They're marked up at a ridiculous cost for...
Base sport with a manny or max tow if you need to tow. Most of the extra electronic add ons are a gimmick imo. There's nothing really in those packages you couldn't add yourself at this point for half the price. Theres value in not having to pay 7% interest on accessories even with good credit...
@JeepCares
Just let us get a better aftermarket clutch and you pay for the labor and some of the cost of the clutch. Jeep is making this way harder than it needs to be. It's clear that the aftermarket clutches are superior to jeeps, so why would I want yalls half baked, bean counted solution...
Going to revive this thread.
I was wondering if anyone has seen an update on this recall, or, what happens when your vehicle goes out of warranty and you still want this recall to be addressed.
@JeepCares
Figured it out, going to delete the thread.
Basically, combination of slightly loose lug nuts on the other wheel + upper lower ball joint on the other side was not in spec.
So, here's a fun one. I have had a clunk in the front right of the vehicle for about three weeks or so now. For reference, the clunk only happened when the sway bar was connected, the wheel was slightly turned, and the right side of the axle was elevated more than the left. I would feel this...
Why would you dump 50k into a new 4x4 just to have it do the trail for you? That's a new one for me. But, maybe it's being test offroad for edge cases on road? Suggested lines to reduce the need for a spotter? Like why would anyone want this.
Maybe it's being tested off road incase you miss a...
I've had the same thing happen. At least for a manual, and it's the one toward the front of the vehicle, you should be able to fit a 90 degree needle nose plier in there to grip the nutsert. there's holes in the support on the top, but it's hard to get fingers in there without hitting the...
Best thread on the forums right now. Take if from an eighth generation Carolinian, they will slowly chip away until your entire state has little to no actual off roading and overlanding. I'm surprised nobody from any overlanding organizations were. I'll submit something when I'm off the clock.
Why can't arb take the upper half of the sideburn's front bumper, weld it onto the classic/bondi bumper, and call it a day? The selection of jeep bumpers that provide the level of protection that a ranch hand would is non existent. This makes me sad.
