I'm probably on the lighter usage side with my 3.6L as I've had mine since May 2020 but as of today it's only got 27k and change. That Covid life turned into working from home so it never had to commute.
But most of it's running time these days is either 4-low, couple hour trips each way to get...
I got my flaps from Weathertech directly and early. I put them on this weekend.
Pros:
Super easy install
Nice fit and finish. Looks OEM.
They fit with the Jeep Performance Parts HD Rock Rails now with the revision.
The extra recessed area for side steps doesn't really intrude on the look with...
There are insane deals on 2023s and you actually have an engine choice of 3.6 or 3.0 diesel. Dirt Road Cred surmised the reason the 2024 builder was so delayed was because there are thousands of 2023s still on lots.
2024 looks to be just a giant center console screen and electric seats. No...
I dropped my camper shell key down there. I tried a magnetic antenna thingy. Nope. I left it there to rot since I had a spare. Eventually I had to loosen up the driver's seat bolts front and rear to do a modification and I found the key under the carpet all the way dead center of the driver's...
I just wanted to follow-up on this. I also contacted Weathertech to see what was going on. In my case, I am interested in the new revision since I have the Jeep Performance Parts rock rails that look like they will fit. They responded to me the same as they did @Han22735 that they have updated...
I don't think there's an option for memory settings, (ie. profiles for different drivers). So, you'd just be waiting around for the seat to move around electrically anyway. I think you can set yourself up faster manually.
Nevertheless, good luck to whoever accepts the challenge!
I don't have any mudflaps currently. I've been looking at all the options for a long time but having the JPP HD rails has limited my options to zero. Even the Rockblokz will break if you modify the hole to fit those rails.
I've sent an email to their sales address to see if they can clarify.
This is worth double-checking. I have 37" BFG KO2s but under the truck they are actually closer to 35.5" input into the system based on GPS and those construction zone radar signs on the freeway around me matching up. I run at 35psi cold. I just ran a few passes on the freeway at night past 3 of...
Another little maintenance item. My key fob battery was getting low. I was unable to remote start most of the time and proximity entry was sometimes working. Sometimes even when remote start worked when I got in I was unable to push the ignition button and have it go to the full run position. I...
Installed locking hood latches. I saw these on a post and later that week I came out to one of my hood latches in the open position. Coincidence? Anyway, bought them to try as a deterrent. I had the Mopar hood latch on my 2013 JKR and it's just one more thing they have to mess with...
The t-nuts have the wrong size bolt diameter. Quick Fists have a 1/4" hole for mounting and the t-nuts I have are 3/8". Oh well, into the spares bin for something else! If anyone knows the correct t-nut for OEM Trail Rail to use with a Quick Fist with a 1/4"diameter bolt, let me know. :)
Hey all,
I'm having a hell of a time finding the right kind of t-nut for the OEM trail rail that has a 1/4" bolt hole to use with a couple Quick Fists. Quick Fists have a 1/4" opening to put a bolt through.
Rebel Off-road sells two 1/4" t-nuts/bolts for 20 bucks... They look like unistrut...
I don't use it just as a trail truck. But I also don't expect it to do everything for everyone. I think there are meaningful upgrades they can make and then there are the upgrades that just keep raising the price. I bought a Rubicon because that's what I wanted and have had in the past with my...
