  1. Canadian jeep with no warranty?

Depends on how good of a deal it is. My experience was not good with a Can Am warranty, so I would never get a Canadian Jeep again. If you decide to go for it, get all the warranty information up front and inquire about purchasing/negotiating additional warranty coverage.
  2. Has anyone replaced the 7" Infotainment system with 8.4"?

Yep! I got the 8.4 unit from Infotainment. The install was pretty easy, it's all plug and play. Have to let it sit overnight to let it figure itself all out with the software and such, but I never had any issues with it and enjoyed the extra screen size and features. A Tazer will enable off road...
  3. Goodbye for now - and THANK YOU!

So far so good after a week. I would highly recommend a Demo Drive with Rivian if you haven't already - great opportunity to get behind the wheel and learn all about their vehicles. Going electric is a big change, but so far it's been worth it for me!
  4. Goodbye for now - and THANK YOU!

I test drove a Model Y and really liked it, but it was easier to switch from the Gladiator to the R1T since they are almost the same size and all that. The R2 will be officially revealed on March 7th!
  5. Goodbye for now - and THANK YOU!

This week I sold my 2020 Gladiator Overland, switching into a new Rivian R1T. The Jeep had its ups and downs, but I loved being welcomed into the Jeep community during my ownership, and all the help and information shared from fellow enthusiasts here on the forum! Maybe I'll be back in a Jeep...
  6. Is the Gladiator losing interest with buyers?

I was toying with the idea of switching to a used Rubicon Wrangler. I found a nice one, but the dealership would only give me $35k for my 2020 Overland (I paid $48k). Actually not a bad offer these days, but they also said they didn't really want the Gladiator because they just don't sell. Their...
  7. Anyone experienced codes like these?

Sounds like a similar issue to mine. The connecter behind the glovebox would be an easy part to replace to start with! I didn't notice additional vacuum pump noise, but I wasn't listening for anything specific, all the lights and the locked shifter were keeping my attention.
  8. Anyone experienced codes like these?

So far so good for me - no more errors. Fingers crossed this was the permanent fix!
  9. Anyone experienced codes like these?

Can Bus part 68321746AA was the fix! Issue went away for me (so far) and it only cost $60 with no trips to the dealer - which is good because I'm out of warranty.
  10. Anyone experienced codes like these?

I'm currently dealing with this issue, as of two days ago. It is incredibly frustrating. My biggest issue is that I also get an AutoPark issue, and the transmission is locked in Park after I start the truck. So, I have to shut it off and restart it a bunch of times, swear at the Jeep a little...
  11. Rivian R1T First Drive reviews

I've been following Rivian for years (I did some work for them before they announced the R1T) and I've been impressed all the way around. The CEO, RJ, is a genuinely great guy and really cares about the product and the company. I love my JT and the whole Jeep culture, but as many of the...
  12. Used mojave at local dealer but has Canadian sticker

Thanks for the add @Gvsukids Yes, my Overland came from Canada, I purchased it used from a dealer near Chicago. I can confirm that the factory warranty DOES NOT transfer across the border. Jeep Cares confirmed this for me as well. As soon as a Canadian Jeep crosses into the States, the...
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Picked up a soft top from another Gladiator owner and got it installed for the summer. Really liking how simple it is to open up!
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Thanks! It was Rust-Oleum Custom Lacquer Black Stainless steel. Very similar to the stock Rubicon trim color...
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Finally painted the silver grill trim on my Overland. Loving the new look to the front end! The only chrome left on the truck are the keyholes in the front doors. Sometimes the little mods are the most rewarding ? Before: After:
  16. Prospective buyer with some questions

Regarding upgrading to the 8.4 from the 7" - you'll gain most of the features of the 8.4, just not the Sirius Travel Link and Uconnect phone app for remote control of the Jeep (as far as I know). I got 8.4" from Infotainment.com. I had the Premium Audio package, just with the 7" radio, so I...
  17. Who is actually buying used?

I bought used, my truck was a dealer demo with 2,500 miles on it. I was planning on ordering a Sport S, but my used loaded Overland was around the same price, and came with aftermarket wheels and tires. For me, I was able to get the truck I wanted and enjoy the summer with it, instead of...
  18. Warranty Issues

To follow up on this whole story (4 months later)... I worked with the original dealership out of state, and a different local dealer service department and finally got the repairs completed. The local service department was able to prove to the warranty company adjuster that my Jeep did in...
  19. Bad Mileage with 33" Tires

Yes, that's correct. The wheels and tires have not changed. That's why I was originally concerned with the drop in mpg. It was like something was reset. Seems like everyone agrees that there would be a slight drop due to the leveling kit/winter gas and temps/remote starting. Perhaps that's just...
