  1. Good deal on this Mojave? 🤣

-My first thought was, why were the pics taken at night?
  2. The infamous start/stop aux battery

As others have mentioned, the Stop/Start unavailable message can be caused by a number of factors. We have all just heard so much about aux battery issues, I myself jumped to that conclusion. If you have an OBD2 scanner/code reader, check for other codes. I had a cam phaser sensor issue that was...
  3. Buyers remorse but trim not Jeep.

Same here - Purchased my 2020 Overland new. I've kept it pretty much stock and it's a comfortable highway vehicle, still averaging 21 hwy after the 78k I've put on it in 3.5 years. If the Mojave is still available with the now reportedly fixed manual transmission when i pay this one off and jump...
  4. Spare tire trickery!!

My 2020 overland with stock 255/70R18 wheels/tires came with a 17" spare - caught me by surprise. I purchased a brand new full size for $125 with new stock 255/70/r18 tire on it on ebay and use that as my spare. It fits underneath in the spare tire holder no problem.
  5. My insurance went up

First time ever after driving for 40 years, my insurance booted my family policy (4 vehicles) because we had "too many claims". 5 total over 5 years, 1 at fault claim, 1 not at fault claim (rear-ended by distracted driver on exit ramp) and 3 glass repair claims for rock strikes (only repaired...
  6. Start/stop not ready

yes - check engine light lit up also.
  7. Start/stop not ready

My "Stop/Start not ready" message was triggered by a bank 2 cam 2 phaser. Stop /Start disabled by cam position actuator circuit open. My OBD reader called is a camshaft position sensor, (code 32) but it was the cam phaser that was the issue, the sensor was just picking up on the phaser issue...
  8. Uconnect/navigation renew

I've been getting those notices every year since I purchased my JT new in 2020. Hard pass. I've used apple maps all the U.S. and Europe with no and it updates automatically. All i paid was the price of admission. Car nav should be the same - at lest for something similar to a warranty period.
  9. Installed the Rough Country Powered Running Boards

Wow - very cool. My wife ('21 JL Sahara) and I ('20 JT Overland) both have the factory plastic/nylon running boards. They look fine, but my wife and I are both 6' tall, so we never use them to enter the vehicle - mainly just stand on them to clean the roof or install the sun shade. At best they...
  10. Anyone ever successfully told Sirius to f--- off?

Same - 2020 Gladiator - purchased new 6/2020. Used the Sirius occasionally for the free trial period and then did not renew. Received mail and email for about a year, now only occasionally. Everything I need access to is on my phone through Carplay via wireless bluetooth/wifi USB dongle. Older...
  11. Anyone else freaking love their truck?

Have thoroughly enjoyed my stock 2020 JT Overland since purchasing new. Now at 76k miles, the messages have started: P0023 error code (cam position sensor bank 2) and intermittent "Stop/Start Unavailable - Service Auto Stop Start System". -Replaced the Bank 2 cam position sensor - did not...
  12. Not impressed with Gladiator performance in snow

We don't get long stretches of snowy conditions here in Massachusetts (near Boston) but I grew up driving pickup trucks in snowy PA. I keep 2 ea 60lb sand tubes in the bed of my gladiator centered above the rear axles all winter. No complaints. Stock 255-70-R18 Wrangler ATA.
  13. All weather matts

-true - recently opened the drain in the mopar mats and used the garden hose to wash out my wife's floor mat in her JL after a spilled french vanilla coffee.
  14. All weather matts

The Gladiator MOPAR mats were already dealer-installed when I purchased my Gladiator new and I have no issues with them. They have a matte finish that is not showing wear and they are still flexible after 3-1/2 years. They also still clean up well and have the integrated floor drains that match...
  15. Alpine radio worth it

IMO -Yes. Rented a sport model with the basic radio and options back in '20 before actively pursuing the purchase of a Gladiator. I am a music guy and compared to stock - the premium Alpine system is a big step up. Performs well enough that I can't justify spending thousands to upgrade. I think...
  16. Is this you?

What, no trailer on the Gladiator?!? 😁
  17. Recommendations for mirrors when removing doors?

Looked around for mesh doors like you find on UTV/Side By Sides and have come up empty so far, short of getting hold of some cargo netting and making my own in a complimentary color. Really don't want to spend the $ on tube doors as I normally only leave the doors off for strings of good weather...
  18. Rear Left and Right Window Panels Explode

I tighten mine down, otherwise you get "squeaks" when it gets cold here in Massachusetts. No issues in 3 years and I've taken my share of fast speed bumps. I only do mild, occasional off - road driving (mud, sand). It's still my daily driver with 70k miles.
