  1. Oops, I screwed up! Stuck in the Sand Dunes.

Thanks! It wasn't quite planned, just the way I needed to go... but it did turnout pretty neat.
  2. Oops, I screwed up! Stuck in the Sand Dunes.

Glad you guys enjoyed it! It was a perfect day out there, plenty of sunshine and blue skies and the sand was a great consistency.
  3. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

That makes sense, I used a locking lugnut kit from Quadratec and the nuts and key are pretty small. Here's what I used, I wanted Black but they were sold out at the time so I got Chrome. - https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec-23-piece-spline-drive-wheel-lug-nut-and-socket-kit-jeep-wrangler-jl
  4. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

Well, your dealer is right and they're wrong. Yes on the 14mm studs, but they fit just fine. The taper on the lug nut is the same, the wheels slide over the studs without interference. No issue at all.
  5. Moab Rim in the Gladiator

Thanks Dan! Spring is great in Moab, early in the year can be excellent or cold, so just go prepared.
  6. Moab Rim in the Gladiator

No issues, I was usually in 1st or 2nd gear coming down, letting the gearing keep the speed under control. But I had no issues when I took my '48 CJ2a up and down last year. ;) I didn't see any ammo cans, but probably drove right next to it.
  7. Moab Rim in the Gladiator

We headed to Utah and ran the Moab Rim trail in our Gladiator! We've had our friend Justin from JKU World along in case we needed a tug along the way. The Gladiator is long and low, as you will see but still very capable on the challenging Moab Rim trail. It's currently setup with a simple...
  8. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

I'll see what I can do, I've been spending way too much time away from home working than I have been playing with the Gladiator, so I haven't been able to get the requested side shots. I think I'll be taking it to Moab again this weekend, so I'll try get some shots.
  9. Fall Colors Tour, Colorado; Lead King basin, Schofield & Kebler Passes

My wife has a '15 F150 and it's pretty wide compared to the Gladiator... then you make it even wider with the Raptor suspension & wide fenders and it takes up a lot of trail. A Raptor would be pretty tight in a few places on Schofield, especially the spot where I climbed over the rock. IMO a...
  10. Fall Colors Tour, Colorado; Lead King basin, Schofield & Kebler Passes

Thanks Rob, glad you enjoyed them! Happy to share! The inner fenders are LED turn signal are both from American Adventure Labs. For the inner fenders, you strip out the factory inner fenders, gaining 3" more clearance and leave the outer shell in place. It's a neat, simple change that really...
  11. 4.10s &37s what speed are you hitting 8th?

You have too much resistance, rolling and wind, to get it to stay in 8th with 4.10 gears and 37's. The 8 speed does a pretty good job of making up for bigger tires with 4.10 gears, but no matter how you cut it, at the end of the day your final drive ratio is off... and the final drive ratio is...
  12. Fall Colors Tour, Colorado; Lead King basin, Schofield & Kebler Passes

Colorado is at 100% capacity, unfortunately....
  13. Fall Colors Tour, Colorado; Lead King basin, Schofield & Kebler Passes

Made my annual Fall Colors Tour, but went solo this year.... the wife wasn't feeling good and even after inviting local friends, nobody could go. Oh well! I started out in Marble, CO and drove up to Lead King Basin.... this is such a beautiful area, doesn't get much attention due to the Crystal...
  14. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

There's not much hanging out past the fenders, no rubbing with 37's anywhere at full articulation. Look at the pics I posted from Moab, you can see how the tires are covered around 90-95% by the flares. I'm away from home for the week working, so I can't get you an actual measurement. I'm very...
  15. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

I truly dislike Plastidip, I bought a vehicle that the PO put Plastidip on the grill, trim, door handles, etc. After a couple years, it started coming off... where it got chipped or didn't stick well. Then it all had to come off and it was a PITA.
  16. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

I wasn't able to get it in place! I thought my AEV wheel and 37" tire would go without issue, but the center hole in the AEV wheel is too small for the spare mount on the end of the cable. I need to get my 37" tire put on the stock steel wheel, then try it. That won't happen till next weekend...
  17. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

Sounds like you got your answer! I'll be putting my 37" spare in place tomorrow, I'll follow up then. I'm hoping I can keep it under there fully inflated, I think if you remove the exhaust heat shield it'll fit.
  18. The RME4x4 Gladiator Rubicon

I really like them, happy with how they turned out! I have zero fitment issues, I did test fit the wheels before powder coating and mounting the tires up, made sure they cleared the brakes, tie rod ends, etc. The fit and offset looked good at that point, so I moved forward with running them on...
  19. Colorado Jeep Gladiator Rubicon wheels & tires; Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3W 285/75/17

These are the OE wheels & tires off my 2020 Jeep Gladiator, all 5 are included. The tires are a Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3W, sized LT285/70R17, load range C. These tires have 2,700 miles on them. They've been offroad a few times, but not abused. Included are the factory Gladiator wheels. The wheels...
