It will be fun to read these posts in a few years. Why? Because electric vehicles are the future and, because of the rapid peace at which the technology is advancing, the future will soon be upon us. Yes, your children and grandchildren will read your arguments against said vehicles and laugh.
A few weeks ago I placed an order at my dealer for the Mopar LED Headlights for my 2020 JT. They were scheduled to arrive yesterday (04/20/2021). This morning I inquired as to the status of my order. The parts department checked on the whereabouts of the lights and learned that due to a...
As to the setup of the rig in the article, upon taking a pre-flight walk around the rig I wouldn't have even attempted to drive it. No WDH? No anti-sway bar? Brake controller? Those are needed, not because the JT is an inadequate tow vehicle, but because it's necessary for safe driving. We're...
Yeah, we didn't have to flash the
Yeah, I didn't have to flash the aftermarket brake controller installed in our JT shortly after purchase. It was plug and play. It works perfectly.
What gives, Mopar/FCA?
Thank you. I've done as you suggested. The dealer understands that the harness isn't necessary. It wasn't a harness that was in question. It was a code to enable the brake controller to communicate with the truck. The day of installation I spoke with the tech, an experienced tech, and he was...
I've read this thread, and I'm sure my question has been answered therein, but I'm not very tech savvy and am confused. So, here's my story; your guidance will be appreciated.
1) I ordered the Mopar trailer brake the day it was released.
2) Soon after it arrived so did the fix for the...
My Gladiator arrived Aug. 22. As I drove it off of the lot I immediately noticed that there was a problem with the steering. I've been driving for 50 years, so I knew this wasn't right. It had the potential to be very dangerous, meaning, if I had 16-18 year olds, I wouldn't let them drive it...
I'm going to have to spend some time reading the 25 pages in this thread and catch up on the conversation, but this is my account of the brake controller experience.
On the day of the official release of the brake controller my dealer put in an order. It arrived and the plan was to install it...
My brake controller has arrived. The dealer will be installing it. My question now is, "Since the controller will be installed where the 12 volt plug currently is, where can I put the plug?"
Has anyone worked out that issue? I use it to power the rearview camera for my Airstream. It would be...
Yes, it's a 19' Bambi. The GWVR is 5,000 lbs. The net caring capacity is 1,350 lbs. The hitch weight with batteries and LP is 525 lbs. It's perfect for my wife and me. The Gladiator has no problem pulling it.
When we were shopping for our Gladiator, the number one thing of importance was towing capability, so that meant a Sport S/Max Tow Package, which made the decision as to which model to purchase much easier for us. We like it decision and have no complaints at all.
