so the ones you got were those advertised as specifically for Mojave? And you still needed to cut/adjust them?
i was looking at these but want a turnkey option that doesn’t require additional modifications to fit my Mojave.
Yeah, I'm really happy with it. I have already had a few scratches, narrow trails and overhanging trees and bushes kill it every time. This will be a lot more durable and I won't be so concerned about it getting scratched/dinged when I take it off and story it in the garage.
So I got my knockoff from Ebay delivered, and took me quite a bid of modifying both the bumper and the factory Mojave skid in order to get everything to install and marry up. I will be installing a winch shortly. I replaced most of the hardware with grade 8 from Napa Auto Parts. Other than that...
Replaced the stock halogens with Morimoto XB LED turn signals. Little man helping me out today.
Then finished the Ebay Mopar Steel bumper knockoff modification and install. What a pain. Trying to get it on to a Mojave was an experience. Lots of cutting, but its on... Now just gotta get the...
I had this same problem. After seeing some solutions on JL forums, I found that toggling the TPMS OFF then ON through the Tazer menu, then a full reboot, fixed everything for me. Give that a try.
So the videos don’t do it justice, but I finally got to get onto some desert roads and let her stretch her legs. It’s amazing what the Mojave can do. Just sails. Got up to about 60mph on roads my buddy’s Tacoma couldn’t take at more than 20. I have a drone, and plan on doing some follow me chase...
They may not be desert tracks, but mine did a great job at the salt flats in Utah, then exploring mountain roads and old mining settlements in Montana, followed by the Craters of the Moon in Idaho, before finally returning home to Nevada. After a 3000 mile trip around the west, I couldn't be...
It’s been a very productive day!!
Started off with some new decals:
Then added a little flair. Nothing like a claymore to keep the tailgaters away.
Installed the Swing Case storage compartment.
Then a Ronin Shorty
Then took the OEM junk off and installed the Magnaflow Rock Crawler...
Does this count? I’ve had my Gladiator for two weeks today, and already took a rock from a semi to the windshield. My last Jeep had to have windshield replaced on average once every 18 months or so. Guess this one is going to follow suit.
Man, I love this. I have had this same sticker on every Jeep I have owned. I love the history. Spent some time overseas with the military, tried to carry on the tradition. There are quite a few Kilroy's spread throughout Iraq and Afghanistan I've left behind... great legacy. Just bought a new...
