Had AMP Powerstep XL's installed on my JT Friday. I have them on my JL daily driver and love them. I had ordered them for the Gladiator a couple years ago and there were supply issues and after waiting a couple of months I decided I didn't drive it enough to justify the cost and cancelled...
I did the AMP steps on my JL and I love them, but kind of wish I had gone the RSE route. Since putting on my steps I have done Jeep Jamboree twice and Jeep Camp in Deadwood, SD. I did not do any serious rock crawling but still did quite a bit of rocky trails and banged them some, giving them...
Gave the JT a face lift to kind of match my Willys JL and make it different than most everybody else. Bought a gloss black grill and painted the inserts to match the firecracker red. I'm happy with how it turned out.
And now I have a Jeep wall hanging for my garage.
Around year end, I received multiple e-mails from Quadratec stating there was a 10% discount on everything (with some exceptions). I ordered almost $1,000 worth of product, but guess what, no discount was given. None of my items were on their discount exception list. I bought them anyway, as...
Welcome to owning a Jeep, although the issue isn't just Jeeps. I had an FJ Cruiser before this Jeep and went through a few windshield repairs in 11 years. Same issue - damn near vertical windshield that "stops" the rocks and doesn't deflect them.
I have had a very small chip on the very top edge of my windshield for several months. I heard the rock hit and spent a bit of time looking at the windshield trying to find it. I didn't think I could do a chip repair just because of how it was on the very edge. It has been there quite a...
I didn't know I had Travelink - haven't seen any info on it with my paperwork or e-mails. Not interested in it anyway. I let the Guardian lapse. It would be nice to have in an emergency but the monthly cost would be all I would be willing to pay for a year.
It's not just a Jeep thing. When I had my FJ Cruiser and my Mustang, I always waved at others when I met them and many of them waved back. When I had my TJ and now with my JT and JL, I wave at all of them I meet and it makes me feel good when they wave too. A little bit of good in this world...
I would have preferred the Rubicon, but couldn't justify the cost difference just because it looked "cooler" so I ordered my Overland with all the options I wanted for about $7,000 less than a similar Rubicon. My Gladiator won't see any trails or off-roading (that's what I have my 2dr JL for)...
Years ago when I took my car in for an oil change, the mechanic came and got me to show me that the mice had filled the air cleaner with D-con. I think they cleaned out the whole box. Decided against buying D-con again.
That is pretty much what I was hoping for when I heard Jeep was coming out with a pickup, but would prefer a slight extended cab. I would trade off my JT in a heartbeat.
I know this is an old thread but thought I would add my 2 cents since Quadratec has these in stock now. I just installed the Quadratec dead pedal and while I haven't driven it yet, I can tell that this is going to be a great addition to my Gladiator. Although the install couldn't have been...
I just installed the Quadratec dead pedal and had to remove 1 nut. I have a deep socket but I couldn't get both arms and my upper body under the dash enough to get the nut loose and that sucker is on tight!!. Finally I had the need to use that 20" ratchet extension that I bought years ago!
I...
What kind of a tonneau cover do you have? I have a factory cover and I think it is too wide to work with the Blackhorse sport bar. I would like to keep a cover.
