#1) 5.7l Hemi as a cheap V8 upgrade (drop the MDS and start-stop nobody wants it) Hands down the best option.
#2) 3.0l Hurricane w/a dipstick (no dipstick was designed by a dipsh*t)
I'm trying to figure out where I can find a roll of this type of foam tape. I'm not looking for the precut Mopar supplied version but I'm looking for a general roll of the stuff for other uses such as a barrier for wires.
Does anyone know where I can find this exact tape or something very similar?
I was the one who put on the hub and it absolutely was not over tightened for fear of exactly that, I knew it's thinnish plastic so I was careful to only gingerly snug it with blue Locktite. The bolt in the picture is bonded to the plastic which is a sign of higher heat, to me. I was towing a...
The other day I was walking towards my jeep and noticed that my passenger rear hub cap was missing from my new-ish (3mth old) Black Rhino wheels. Upon closer inspection I saw that the bolts were still in place and the cap had fallen off around it. I have no idea what could have caused this aside...
This is the gospel on the Jeep 3.6:
The original "AA" and "AB" designated motors from 2012 to around 2013 had most of the problems that you hear about today but those initial problems have been mostly resolved, with an occasional outlier here or there of course. Somewhere in 2013 the "AC"...

Please excuse me if you've already checked. But did you check your fader settings prior to listening closely? You never know, somebody could have fooled with it.
I'm going out on a limb here, especially as a diesel owner, and I'm going to say the 3.6 may be your better choice. Given all the information you've provided the 3.6 would certainly be a more economical decision in the long run. In many discussions you'll read that I recommend the diesel but in...
As far as I've seen, all direct injection engines are prone, particularly with forced induction. Some are worse than others depending upon the EGR design, cleanliness of the oil, type of oil and the same goes with the air filter.
The Toyota Tacoma suffered from reliability issues on the 3.5l...
