I had a hard time finding a place I liked to mount the winch solenoid. This is what I came up with. I had a scrap piece of flat stock that I used to make the mount. I used a ton of silicon on the box. Hopefully it will be waterproof.

I will watch it closely the first time I use it, but I think it will be fine. I haven't seen the Warn plate or others in the flesh so it's hard to compare. It is pretty heavy and seems rock solid when bolted in place.
