  10. Would a tune or gear change help bad MPG with 35 inch tires?

    If the dealer added the 35’s they are required to calibrate it. That little thing called the odometer mileage statement when you buy it lol. Call them on it. I did- and they had to calibrate at no charge when I bought my Tacoma that they lifted and put 35’s on.

    fishbone has two great stubbys. I went with this one along with the skid plate and a 12,000 lb wireless remote winch. I reused the factory harness for new foglights.

    Do they hyper flash? Needing a rear turn signal bulb that doesn’t need resistors.

    there is 2” difference between the 245 / 70 / 17s and 285/70/17 and a calculator says 4 mph difference at 65. Yet my Speedo matches my GPS- why?

    yeah I wasn’t sure about that one. When I look up difference between stock tires and these 33s it says at 65 I’m actually doing 69. But every GPS speedo app I’ve used matches my speedometer. So what’s the deal with that?

    You don’t need to calibrate your tire size, at least I didn’t have to on my 2021. They calibrate automatically by transmission speed. I didn’t do a thing after putting 33’s on mine and speedometer is nuts on. Dealer confirmed they auto calibrate.

    I’m running 285/70/17 Falken Wild Peak MTs. (33”) they are great. Quiet. Nice ride. Good gas mileage. And aggressive look.

    my 2021 has a switch for it. It’s on same knob as fog lights- 1/2 switch is fog 1/2 is bed lights

    Backseat gives me more leg room than my Tacoma. I had to put my seat forward in Tacoma with adults in backseat, not with my gladiator
