Shoot, I’ve been away from this a couple of years. Duplicated a post, can’t figure out delete tonight…. Bear with me and only expect posts without pictures, or responses until I figure it out again
Not gonna lift it. Been there, done that. Rubi sized tires are good enough. I’m getting old and stiff. Anywhere I can’t get with the truck, I’ll just take an atv. I drive to get to a certain spot, not for a challenge or pleasure. If the truck won’t do it, it’s atv time.
Lots of aluminum and paper thin glass, and I’d say rotors will always have to be replaced instead of turned... for weight savings. To get the mpg higher.
Google sigma kore. They have absolutely the best treatment for glass available I’ve found. Not cheap, but honestly lasts about two years. Definitely worth the cost.
My first Jeep. Got it in a gun trade with my uncle years ago. Junkyard seats from a Ford maverick. Kept it around the place for years. Ex wife talked me into selling it. Now she’s gone and I’m back driving Jeep’s.
I’ll put it this way, when I wrecked my JL, this was one of the accessories I made sure I pulled off for the JT before closing with insurance. Maybe not my most useful accessory, but definitely the most used.
When i ordered my JL.... I just said 5% under invoice... deal it or not.... found a dealer that would and ordered... wrecked it and when I was looking for a JT found a max tow demonstrator the manager had been driving.... got a great settlement on insurance.... paid vehicle for paid vehicle...
Just watch dealers... it’s been a problem since 2018 . The JL 3.6 has a different capacity than the JL or JT 3.6 ... make sure they don’t overfille.
About the same here... went from a 2011 Cummins to a JL... wrecked it and got a JT... since I’m no longer towing heavy I don’t miss the Cummins schoolbus at all .... the JT is to me the perfect everyday vehicle.
