  1. Diesel oil filter.

Scratch that - didn't take much googling to find this to be a common issue with aftermarket filters :/
  2. Diesel oil filter.

I just changed my oil (first change outside of the free ones) and alas, bought a filter from Amazon. Shortly after installing I got a low oil pressure alarm on my Jeep and suspect it is the filter. Is that a symptom of using one of the cheaper filters? Turning off the engine and back on...
  3. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

No spacers...though looking at adding a .5" spacer in the back for when loaded up with gear.
  4. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Yes, the original photos were the stock 33" Falken ATs

Same tires and wheels. New wheels and tires are 37x12.5 Nittos
  6. 37 inch spare tire

Yep thanks - Agree the rim not mattering - and FWIW the tire shouldn't either so maybe I'm overthinking trying to get a matching spare in there at all. Never busted a tire on my old Jeep either...
  7. 37 inch spare tire

Hmm, what is it hitting that prevented the Nitto + 17x9 combo from fitting?
  8. 37 inch spare tire

Wha doesn't fit? There appears to be several factors at play. I'm about to pull the trigger on what sounds like your same setup and am getting mixed messages about the wheel/tire combo. Is it hitting the trackbar, and if so, do you have an aftermarket one (and which one)? Is it hitting the...
  9. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Yeah I saw your message about that happening to ya - I think I have mine torqued down tight enough but we'll see...lifts can always stand a retorquing after a few hundred miles anyways :)
  10. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Installed the 2.5" Overland Plus kit over the weekend - and the first test drive produced no clunks! I ended up with 2.5" lift in the back, and 3.25" in the front (which was surprising since I have the diesel/winch/bumper). I was previously bottoming out on pretty mild bumps in the front due...
  11. "Perfect" Redarc Brake Controller knob install, almost.

I did the same thing as here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/redarc-brake-controller-install-location.34519/page-3#post-654601 Or are you asking about the controller (not the knob)? My controller is just attached to a piece of 1/8" flat stock. It has to be mounted...
  12. "Perfect" Redarc Brake Controller knob install, almost.

I went with a location another user recommended next to the cigarette lighter. Mounted the controller here...
  13. Redarc Brake Controller Install Location

lol, wish I had seen this warning first: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/perfect-redarc-brake-controller-knob-install-almost.41106/
  14. "Perfect" Redarc Brake Controller knob install, almost.

Was so excited - this was the perfect location for the knob! Used calipers to ensure even offset from the trim edges...was sure I had this nailed. Was buttoning everything up...installing the last bit of trim. You've got to be kidding me! Now to undo it all, and see how much of a hole I...
  15. Wondering if I’m ordering the correct setup

Drive shafts & (if not in the kit) brake lines will need to be replaced. Assuming you're putting on bigger tires and/or regearing, you'll probably want to get the computer adjusted (AEV, Tazer, etc...)
  16. Diesel Rubicon Payload

Tires are unsprung mass so not sure if it can be treated the same - I think it would be more equivalent to towing weight. I do have the engine block heater - even still that isn't more than 1-2 lbs. It is just a resistor.
  17. Diesel Rubicon Payload
