The reason they are selling it now is called the Ford Bronco. And if Ford ever gets around to offering the Ranger Raptor Iād bet good money the 392 would magically appear in the Gladiator.
Did you do the shock swap before the springs, or did you do it all at the same time?
Also, regarding the max tow springs, how did you find them and is the ride more stiff in the back?
I ask because I like the ride of the Overland for the most part, but I donāt like how uncomposed it is, say...
Iāve been wondering this, too, although I have an Overland and a Rubi takeoff suspension. If you just swap the shocks out does it take the bounce out?
Iām pretty sure itās a different transfer case. I believe you got the MP1622 while the MP3022 is the SelecTrac transfer case. Not trying to rain on your parade, but that would be a very expensive swap.
And I get wanting the SelecTrac. With our weather and roads I was over switching back and...
I think a lot of times the sales people know less than we do. SelecTrac is an option as of the 2021s. My JTO, ordered at the beginning of this past September and built in October has it. Absolutely love it. Combined with LSD its nearly as competent on cruddy roads as my wifeās Subaru Ascent.
What was the last status you received? I ordered on 9/2 and now itās sitting in Council Bluffs on the train, waiting to be offloaded so it can be put on a truck to be delivered to my dealer.
Pretty much everything to this point has taken twice as long as Jeep says it will. This truck better be...
Hey, congrats, man! That looks great! We had the same delivery window, so at least one of us beat expectations on one stage in the process. š
I just picked up a loaner Ram for my weekend hunting excursion so I figure it could show up while Iām gone. Thatās my kinda luck.
Man, we are like watching Hobbits race. š Ordered 9/2, supposed to get to Council Bluffs tomorrow. Then itās a short truck ride, but the sales guy said be prepared because then itās a matter of which end of the train itās on and when their next truck is running. Iām looking at around...
B-roc posted a video of it a few pages back (257). From what I gather itās close to the assembly portion of the process. Here it is again:
Yeah, check out that video. Your truck is finished, then goes to the vendor. From what I could see it all they did was clean and wipe down before...
Yep. Based on Mozeppaās turnaround with no Mopar options above (3 days from build sheet to window sticker) I think you definitely want to stay away from the body vendor, especially for spray-in bedliners. My build sheet was ready on 10/13 and I didnāt get my window sticker until 11/9. And every...
Your salesperson can tell you. Jeep Chat no longer gives out status codes, but every dealership can login and see the status in the database. Everyone, Jeep Chat and your dealer, is using the same info unless you have someone following your truck through each process, which I find rather...
Ugh. Council Bluffs, 20 days. That will put me into December. Hopefully theyāll have employee pricing for all next month so I can least save a little money for waiting so long.
I feel your angst. Sales guy texted and said estimated delivery of 11/16-11/30. Ordered 9/2.
Obviously I donāt order 55k vehicles every day (or ever before), but my recommendation would be go LineX or someone else for the bedliner. My truck sat for nearly 3 weeks at the body vendor and the only...
