P.S. The retirement eligibility date is a few years out (not sure if I will or not as soon as I'm eligible - we shall see). I'm just planning ahead for now.
They ended up giving me $36,500 + $1,750 for sticking with a Chrysler-branded vehicle (or whatever Chrysler is called these days - Stellantis?). They originally shot me a $35k quote, but I advocated for more - told them I had 35s on it, bed liner, tonneau cover, and other aspects of the Overland...
Ladies, gentlemen, fellow Jeep owners - it is with a heavy heart that I bid you all farewell. I have traded in my 2020 Overland for a 2023 Ram Rebel. The wife and I have plans to haul something later in life (a few years out) and I decided that I wanted to be debt-free upon being eligible for...
My ESS gave me a dashboard light literally on the day I bought it - dealership tested both batteries and found that, sure enough, one or both were bad (can't remember which). As a fellow Arizonan says above, our heat is HELL on batteries. I recently changed out my main battery (it died) and...
I did the Bulletpoint JT Platform Dash Mount for my phone and GoPro-type camera. Extremely happy with its ability to hold a phone sturdily. Clean look/finish as well. Easy to install, easy to adjust thereafter...
I did the Phoenix (Wickenburg, actually) last year in March. LOTS of education and fun learning my Overland's capabilities. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, attentive, and are good at gauging your abilities. I am somewhat of a beginner, so it was definitely worth it for me. Just search for...
I've owned a 2020 Overland since Feb. 2020 and have not been disappointed one bit in its performance. Have been able to take it absolutely everywhere I needed (and then some) and can say without hesitation that the Overland is capable. Is the Rubicon MORE capable - sure, but that's not been my...
Got all of you beat - mine came on literally right after I signed the paperwork on my 2020 Overland and I was about to leave the dealership - CEL came on as the sales guy was walking me through various features of my new purchase; it ended up being both batteries needing to be changed out...
It's quite easy - I have my teenage daughter help me remove it after I've taken all the bolts out first. Tip - use a power drill to remove the bolts; MUCH quicker.
I've had an Overland since Feb. 2020 and have absolutely no regrets. I liked the overall look (it was on the showroom floor), the drive, the interior options, the larger screen with NAV, leather seats, upgraded Alpine sound, etc. More importantly, it's proven to be more than capable of handling...
