Solved! Apparently, something happened to my system, where the projection manager was turned off. I found it in the app section, turned it on, and CarPlay is back.

I deleted I connect from the phone long ago. I do not get an option to switch to CarPlay when plugging it in.

It's a Jeep problem. Turned off Bluetooth, and I was able to play music from the iPhone.
