  1. Trailer Brake Controller Installed - Redarc Tow Pro Liberty

Been emailing them for a week now. Using their specific harness. I'm the original owner, and have never modified anything electrical. First problem was no power, that's when I discovered no fuse holder present so no circuit to the fuse box. Tapped power from the accessory plug, now it powers up...
  2. Trailer Brake Controller Installed - Redarc Tow Pro Liberty

I just installed this unit in my 2020 Sport S with towing package and the brake system in the vehicle just freaks-out and goes into limp mode. Anyone else have any issues getting this to work?
  3. Best Improvements on a Budget to Correct Alignment/Steering - Mopar 2" Lift on 35s

Actually running 315/70r17 BFG KO2 right now (roughly 34.5" and a little wider than a regular 35x12.50). Talked to a Jeep tech and he took it for a quick spin. The verdict: Those BFGs are a very heavy tire, and tend to wander as they wear out. The load range C variant I'm running were also...
  4. Best Improvements on a Budget to Correct Alignment/Steering - Mopar 2" Lift on 35s

OK, tires… Want something different. Anyone try Maxxis Razr or Delium Terra Raider AT? I’ve had both brands in trailer tires, and both were a good value, wore even, and trouble-free (the highest rating for trailer tires, the worst being exploding junk 😂).
  5. Best Improvements on a Budget to Correct Alignment/Steering - Mopar 2" Lift on 35s

Ball joints and other reinforcements later when I go chopped fenders and 40s, but for now my daily driver keeping it comfortable. 35s are a nice compromise, no complaints or issues even when towing.
  6. Best Improvements on a Budget to Correct Alignment/Steering - Mopar 2" Lift on 35s

Dealer never gave me back the stock lower arms. If money was no problem, I'd combine with a leveling spacer, regear, and 40s... but nah. LOL
  7. Best Improvements on a Budget to Correct Alignment/Steering - Mopar 2" Lift on 35s

Hi there! Need your opinions on where to best spend $500 to improve steering... Gladiator Sport S Maxtow (wide axles and 4:10s) with Mopar 2" lift running 315/70R17 BFG KO2s. I'm due for new tires and an alignment and thinking about upgrades to bolt-on before the tire shop puts it in the...
  8. Does anyone have experience with Corrosion,if so how can I fix it

Anyone have any luck with an out-of-warranty claim on repair? I'm starting to see the same issue, but 3 months late on the 5 year (of course). @JeepCares , any advice? There's a service bulletin on this. Any chance of getting covered past the 5 year warranty?
  9. $1,350 battery replacement?

Yes, my point exactly. Having a vehicle that won't start in my driveway after I turned it off would have been much better than ESS turning it off at an intersection blocking traffic. If I remembered to have the Tazer plugged-in or pushed the ESS off button, I would have most likely made it home...
  10. $1,350 battery replacement?

I would be suspicious if I didn't literally hear the thing pop and sizzle. It's not subtle. I thought the engine itself blew up for a minute.
  11. $1,350 battery replacement?

True, but it would have happened in my driveway when I turned the engine off, not at a light when all I did was stop. Engine was running fine, the ESS kicked-in normally, and nothing went wrong until it was supposed to restart. Logical conclusion is that if the ESS was disabled (meaning the...
  12. $1,350 battery replacement?

Should clarify: the ESS shut it down like any other ESS activation (indicator light for ESS), lifted my foot off brake to restart and that's when it popped and everything went dark.
  13. $1,350 battery replacement?

Both batteries bad (original 6yo batteries, so probably due anyway) and fuse was blown. Can only speculate what happened and when. Did not attempt to jump start and potentially burn up more stuff. Sequence of events: - Stopped at a light, heard a loud "pop!" and everything turned off -...

  16. $1,350 battery replacement?

Thanks, noted in case it happens again! Solution for now is to not forget to keep my Tazer plugged in and turn the damn thing off permanently.
  17. $1,350 battery replacement?

Yes. That's not a lesson, that's my entire point of posting: Did I get ripped off? Some said yes, some said no, and some just want to insult me because... internet. LOL Didn't want anything from the post but a comparison of how much others have paid, and got my answer. All good.
  18. $1,350 battery replacement?

It's not a crime, but people don't understand what MSRP really means: It's the MAXIMUM they can charge for an item without running into legal trouble. It's literally the most they can wring out of you without getting sued. Hotels do this too... It's euphemistically called "Best Available Rate"...
