Trifold is what I recommend. If you only use the full bed occasionally. Better protection from the elements. Not full water proof but good enough to get the groceries home without soggy bread. Also will keep honest people honest. Cant see what’s in the bed and a little more harder to open...
I equate it similarly to those who are classified as “Preppers”. Waiting for the end of the world. Until they “need” it they act and look “strange”. But if the need ever occurs they will be the first to say “I told you so, now get the hell off my property or I’ll shoot”! Lol
The RTT sits too high even with flat tires. LOL thats one of the reasons I’m trying to get the tent off is to swap out the mounting system. Is so that I can lower it. I did reach out to “rollinJack” and left a message to call back. And I agree that this is a good reason to have “strong back...
So I’ve had a camper cover on my truck for close to 4 1/2 years now. I have a RTT on it for 1 1/2 years. I need to get the tent off to replace the platform and have been scouring the inter web for ideas. I’ve found plenty of work arounds from garage hoists to diy cranes “engine lifts”. To some...
Colorado to Dead horse AK. I use totes and Milwaukee pack outs. The FSR tent lives on the truck year round. As the others mentioned, metal over plastics. And I average 20 mpg (Diesel).
Finally got around to changing the transmission fluid 62,200 miles. At least what is in the drain pan got changed. I put in 3quarts of AMSoil trans fluid and 2 3/4 quarts of the Mopar “stuff”. Hoping this will help out in the winter months with cold temps here in the Rockies. We’ll see.
Not to hijack the tread but it’s kinda inline. Anyone got advise or trick to keep the foaming down while fueling? It stakes an extra 5-16 minutes sometimes to fully fuel up to the top lip.
It’s an evil demon that lives in the gauge cluster. It pulls on your soul even when not looking at it. It will anger, depress you If you give into it. It’s better to just squeeze the tall skinny pedal with your right foot. That makes the demon get smaller and go away…..Lol
“J”ust “E”mpty “E”very “P”ocket . Not really sure who has it worse jeep owners, or Harley Davidson owners. But oh is the poor man who owns both….
I have the SS3Pro’s. Had the same type issue when I installed them. Except both would come on the one side would shut off. Long story short you need to set the fog light setting to halogen. The led setting doesn’t provide enough power. At least it worked for me. Going on 4.5 years now!
Cost me $360 for a new battery from Batteries Plus. I removed the aux battery (Diesel model) tied and wrapped all the connections to the aux battery. Removed said fuse. Half hour max.
