  1. Hmmmm...

Number of the beast? Ignore the crappy mileage, I'm running winter tires into a stiff headwind. Kevin
  2. Halogen vs. LED Fog lights

I have LED bulbs in my Sport S stock halogen fog lights, and I’ve been pretty happy with the results. I just received a set of OEM LED fog lights. Anyone care to speculate which will be better: the halogen housings with LED bulbs, or the LED fog lights? Kevin
  3. Washington Red Rubicon Front Tow Hooks.

A pair of the red (Rubicon) front tow hooks. They're not perfect, but not totally beat up, either. $25.00, plus shipping (USPS Priority Flat Rate Box ~$17) Kevin
  4. Washington Sold: N-Fab Nerf Bars/Steps

I took these off my Sport S (N-Fab honored their warranty) and I thought I'd see if anyone wanted them. They'll need refinished, but are solid otherwise. You can have them for $0.00, but you need to come get them or pay shipping. I'll box them up in the original N-Fab carton. Kevin

My outside temperature reading is showing nothing… Any ideas as to what might be wrong? :) Damn Great Plains. Kevin
  7. Found out something new today...

If you get high-centered, with very little traction at any wheel, and turn on Selec-Speed (Duck Mode,) the engine speed just starts climbing. I took it out of gear when the RPMs hit ~3500, and didn't try it again. Oh, and I don't recommend getting high centered on a deep snow drift in rural...
  8. Well, pooh...

I guess a small-ish rock thrown hard enough will indeed mess up the HGP Gorilla Glass windshield. We'll see how good their warranty is. Kevin
  9. Let’s hear it for Selec-Speed!

Headed up a mountain for work today, and there was 8-10 inches of new, wet, heavy snow. The customer was driving his F-150 with reasonable tires, and he got about half way. We went back and got the Gladiator, chained up the rear, and made it about 50 feet further in 4Hi. Pulled it into 4Lo and...

  13. New Jeep Owners App

I’ve received a couple of e-mails, as well as a HUGE banner in the My Jeep app, alerting me to the new Jeep app for owners. All fine and dandy, but, according to the banner, an Active Services subscription is required. I have the 7” radio, so no active services. Also, I tried the new app...
