  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Thank you. The frame bushing was getting weak on the Clayton, 30k miles on 37” tires, the RK looks like to toughest TB out there due to its bushings. I’ll replace the bushing on the Clayton and use as a spare.
  2. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Last night I installed these cool close outs on the front bumper from Utah Forge
  3. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

We’ll, last week I installed 2.5 ton aluminum steering and replaced Clayton Track Bar with a RK, Tuesday we had the following done: 4.88’s, Trussed and LCA braced the front axel, Teraflex Balljoints, new KMC XD rims and 40” Ridge Grapplers. Got 3 of the old rims/tires and 40” spare in the bed...
  4. 37s on and looking sweet!

Looks Great! I went 37’s with a 3.5” Clayton and stock 4.10’s. Ran fine but went 4.88’s for the 40’s
  5. Problem with steering

I have a 2020. Took it to one dealer and mentioned the wandering, he said it was my tires, I said no it did it before the tires, he then rotated them After I said I had already tried that (my rims are numbered on the inside so I can keep track of rotations). Dealer number 2, sure let me get you...
  6. Help-CODES

Agreed, I work on airplanes and the batteries get checked/charged often. Very specific maintenance practices. A lead acid (24v) can take 12-24 hours to completely charge. The One battery we don’t use so much on aircraft is AGM. Lots of lead acid and nicad even a few lithium (remove and replace...
  7. Help-CODES

I have a Genius charger, does all kinds of cool things, yes I charged the Aux (AGM) prior to installing. I load tested the main ship battery while out and it was 12.6, topped it off but wouldn’t take much juice. It’s also (Jeep) AGM. I’m assuming the IBS reset when I had both batteries out?
  8. Help-CODES

I agree with your TS but, both batteries have been replaced and the AUX replaced again last month. I checked capacity, it showed excellent without isolation of the batteries. I also placed a smart charger in the system and after various charge/trickle cycles, it always showed a good charge...
  9. Help-CODES

Thanks for the info! Agreed. After checking wiring, connections etc. I drove on the hiway a few miles, exited and shut down/restarted, all but 3 codes were gone and everything is working. Going to rotate tires tomorrow and set drag link/steering angle. She’s drivable as of now. Remaining codes...
  10. HVAC blower is blowing - just not coming through vent

The evap is frozen over. Pull the glovebox out, look up in there you should see the ice. Let it defrost then keep it on low or medium, should be ok. Happened to us headed to MOAB last year.
  11. Help-CODES

Had a death wobble, no worries, drove a few more miles then BAM, cruise control kicked off service traction control illuminated. Got home and pulled the following codes: C2227-00 P0063-9A B0415-00 P2226-00 U0415-00 C0051-28 U1514-87 U0418 U0168 CatalystNtRdy I have a feeling wherever these all...
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Fighting “loose steering” after tightening all linkage bolts to specifications as well as ball joints (all were below or well below spec), I torqued the steering box bolts to 99ft lbs, they were well below. Drove the truck and she feels pretty good. 50k miles, 4” Clayton lift with diesel springs...
  13. Feeling unstable after lift

I’ve ran everything from 26psi to 36psi 34 feels most stable. All control arms are adjustable, torqued and double torqued, marked with torque stripe to see if they back off (they don’t) checked all linkage, caster currently at 6•. Iron gearbox TSB installed just after lift Steering is all...
  14. Feeling unstable after lift

Hi y’all, last year I installed a Clayton 3 1/2” lift on my 2020 Rubicon on 37’s, she wondered like a battleship on the hiway, almost scary. Too much rake so I added 3/4” spacers on the front with smooth foxes. Looked better but the handling was still bad (last jeep was a JKU with 4” lift and...
  15. New LOCKPICK for the UConnect UAQ 8.4 Navi...

For those who know what “Lockpick” is this is. Wry exciting news! Had it on our 16JKU and still have on our 13JKR, will go on out 20JTLE too.
  16. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Normally, a little extra caster helps with stability, the downside is drive shaft angle, 6* is a happy medium. At 5* I was getting slight wobble when hitting bumps at the dreaded 45mph.
  17. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Links were cut after measuring with the lift, sway bars are level/parallel to the frame/road. I often check the nuts just because of how it feels but they’re tight. When installed and torqued I put witness paint on them and all other nuts and bolts associated with the lift. As an aircraft...
  18. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

6*, I thought about adding more but can’t imagine the boat ride feeling I’d caster, I have Zero death wobble or steering wheel vibration.
  19. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

I did the same alignment I’ve done on all my Jeeps but just to be sure I had my dealer check it. My measurements, other than caster, were within spec, I set caster at 6* and they knew why.
  20. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Anyone have an issue where it feels loose on the hiway? Mine feels almost like there’s no sway bar. 3 1/2” Ride right, steel steering box, fox shocks all around.
