That is untrue. The first dealer I took my 2020 to told me the same thing. I then took it to another dealer in my hometown and they replaced the gearbox without the hassle. The service advisor told me on the DL that jeep leaves it up to the service tech to decide if it should be done or not.
So I got the tsb performed on my gladiator this past week. All I can say it's a night and day difference from before. No more wandering and just a crisp feel to it. I did have to leave it at the dealer for a week though.

That looks fucking badass. I bought mine wrapped from the dealer. Turns out mine is polarizing. Either you like it or hate it. Which is why I got a good deal on mine.
Yup. They can keep the oil changes. I'll do it myself and make sure it's done right. I've had it happen before where they didn't tighten the drain plug. I almost had a real big problem on my silverado.
