I donāt understand - if going fast enough and hitting big enough hole/bump, I guess any car will bottom out, right? Everybody here drives at different speeds and has different experiences, I think you need to qualify the circumstances better that you are looking for bottoming out
Iām in Houston, my auto stop start is pretty much totally out of commission in the summer time because I always have the AC set on LOW, and the cabin temp never gets low enough to allow the auto stop function. It wonāt turn off the car if cabin temp is more than a few degrees away from the temp...
Interesting, yeah I donāt know maybe not then. Agree it would be great for a mod to be able to change it.
I noticed on the Subaru that eventually it will engage the parking brake if stopped for a long period , I donāt know exactly if the stop mechanism is different but maybe has to do with a...
My Subaru Ascent isnāt a self driving vehicle either, but it will hold the stop indefinitely in ACC mode after coming to a stop, it is much more convenient. I also think that itās an opportunity for a fender bender to come to a stop by itself and then start moving after 5 seconds without...
I agree, ACc in my gladiator is too aggressive braking and acceleration. Subaru is waaay better, Subaru also allows you to adjust different levels, sucks you canāt do the same with Jeep.
This has been my big question regarding tuningā¦ everyone talks about it as if tuners just give give give, everything is better with a tuner. But there must be something that is worse, but nobody will say it! Is the ātakeā that they sacrifice the same level of emissions cleanliness? Ie emissions...
Hi all,
I have a 2021 Sport S Diesel with 8.4ā radio and premium Audio package (includes alpine premium audio package). Throughout my time with the car (December 2020, about 3k miles) I have noticed that every once in a while something happens with the audio where is sounds like a bunch of mid...
Totally agree that there should be some serious consequences for those things, but to me what would be even better is if it never happened because the person driving drunk never killed anyone because his car stopped first..
Not sure why that's the bar - are you saying you think automatic braking is only safer in cases that all parties are responsible drivers? I don't think that's the case. But I can imagine lots of accidents in cases where the car ahead of you hits the brakes [due to deer, kids, dogs jumping into...
1750 miles or so on mine, totally happy no regrets with the purchase at all, except for the Mopar sun bonnet, which completely sucks but thatās another topic
And you are an engineer - if you had a diesel :surprised::fist bump:
I just drove through league city down to my brothers place in tiki island. 27.4 mpg after dieseling up before the trip. Would have been even better if there wasnāt so much damned traffic on 45
Same story here, I got a Subaru Ascent with no strong feelings on the ACC but after using it on the Subaru, it was a āmust haveā on the Gladiator. System is not as good as the Subaru but still nice.
One of the things I like a lot more about the Subaru is that the car will come to a complete stop...
Youāre complaining about people going to slow in the fast last and blaming it on ACC..? This has been an issue since the beginning of lanes, not fault if ACC.
I guess Jeep doesnāt want you to think so because they donāt put any monitoring gear in there. But like I said in my OP, my wife got in and got a message that she needs to drive at constant speed until it regens. Not sure what would have happened if it wasnāt able to regen that time, but I have...
Not sure how it works, but I assume there is a switch that gets depressed when the door is closed, you might be able to hold the switch down to trick the door into thinking itās closed

Makes me think that itās has been more than 4 hours.. had this been 2 weeks or something, ok maybe. But your post clearly has 1:quality aspect and 2: customer service aspect
