Did you try the other one, as well? Curious as to whether the issue might be my console port or carplay dongle (Which does work flawlessly in the dash)
So the wireless adapter works in the center console? I had a wireless charger installed in the armrest, and so the wireless option is a top priority for me. My issue is that the USB in the console seems to be spotty -- that dongle has always worked flawlessly from the dash port, but cuts in...

This is 100% an issue with the USB port in the center console. My CarPlay2Air works flawlessly in the dash port, and always cuts off after a few minutes in the console. Only wired CarPlay seems to work in the center.
I agree, this is a great solution. As an aside, do you have the dongle plugged in the dash or in the console? My connection in the dash is rock solid, but the port in the console gives me constant drop outs and reconnects.
EDIT: I see where you say you've got it plugged in the console. Not...
I got it installed (took about 10 minutes) and it is CLEAN as a whistle. With the CarPlay2Air I don't have to plug my phone in, and it works every time. Great addition.
Jury is still out.... I will say that I was getting drop outs before a software update and a phone reboot. I’m going to move it back to the console and see where we get.
Installed in the Gladiator. Here's what I noticed: in the USB port in the console (USB #2), it works, but I was getting frequent dropouts. It would lose connection and automatically reconnect pretty frequently, maybe once every couple of minutes.
In USB port #1 in the dash, it's been rock...
