  1. Is it normal to receive two OTD quotes (Loan/Cash) for 2023 Gladiator order?

You are correct about the dealer getting a commission from the lending institution. Some dealers will share a portion of that commission as an incentive for the purchaser to use the dealer financing. There will normally be a requirement (probably only verbal) for a minimum number of payments...
  2. FCA Canada voids transmission warranty for using AMSOIL.

Good news that you're finally getting it back. What was the source of the coolant leak?
  3. Would you support a tax or fine for running larger tires than OEM?

If you take those numbers at face value it appears that Texans were lucky that they weren't more dependent on green energy.
  4. WHO READS OWNERS MANUALS? i GOTS TO KNOW

I don't own a Gladiator but do own a JL that I ordered. Delivery time was four weeks and during that time I read a PDF version of the manual front to back and some sections multiple times. Later, Johnny
  5. exterior temp reading inaccurate

Hi Andrew, try this. When you get home in the evening make a note of the temperature reading. The next morning check it again. It may be retaining the previous reading. I'll check my JL if I can remember to do so. Later, Johnny
  6. Do I need Sway bar links??

Mike, you may have thrown folks off by saying that they're 1/2" longer. They're actually 1/4" longer (between holes) and work great on a JL/JLU when adding Rubicon takeoffs. Later, Johnny
  7. Buying a used JTR from Canada?

I've read that the USA warranty wouldn't be good on a vehicle like you're talking about. That didn't make any sense to me though and I've never verified it one way or another. You might ask the dealer to clarify. Later, Johnny
  8. Old School Jeeps

Brings back memories. I'm surprised that you didn't buy one from Larry Kinkle up in Pickens, SC. Later, Johnny
  9. How else do you use your winch?

Hi NOOB, You obviously have used that rigging without problems but you might want to reconsider connecting the soft shackle directly to the snatch block. Some snatch blocks have sharp edges and, if it cuts the soft shackle, the winch rope/cable makes for a great slingshot. Just something to...
  10. Looking for Florida dealer willing to match Gupton price

In Atlanta: 5% under invoice +1% for Tread Lightly +1% for dealer financing I haven't personally bought from them but have only heard good reviews. Later, Johnny
  11. Labor pricing to install 2" MOPAR lift?

There are a number of good shops in the metro area. I've personally had good luck with Georgia Jeep Tech up in Cumming. If I remember correctly their shop rate is $109/hour. Give the owner Jon a call and he'll give you a quote. Later, Johnny
  12. Dead Pedal

Thanks. I'll try remounting mine the same way using just the one nut instead of two. Otherwise it's going to drive me crazy. :like: Later, Johnny
  13. Dead Pedal

Hi, when installing the dead pedal did you remove the existing nut on the stud or did you install the pedal over the existing nut? I did the latter and can't get the additional nut tight enough to prevent the dead pedal from rotating around under the brake pedal after some time of off roading...
  14. Finding new places to Jeep

You have to have CarPlay to display Gaia. I download maps for the areas that I'm planning to visit. You need a paid membership to do that. I upped $60 for a five year membership. Gaia sure does look good on the 8.4 screen. Later, Johnny
