Service manager. Temp reading incorrect, which causes the other things to not automatically come on.......the sensor is designed to work/ be accurate while the vehicle is in motion. they designed a function to work off a sensor that is only meant to be accurate when the vehicle is in motion when...
The block heater is installed by the engine manufacturer on every ecodiesel motor. The cord is the only thing you need. There is a couple threads on here that will help you locate it. Auto parts stores sell the cords for about 20 bucks.
That's a valid statement but its also worth noting there are probably 10 times as many pentastar motors as ecodiesels out there.
For the record I did have failure/warranty issues with def system and a couple other items...... that wasn't my ultimate reason for getting rid of the ED. I agree...
I've owned both.
My advise if you are buying it to tow, is read the threads on the diesel power derating. Obviously not every diesel owner has this problem but there is clearly limits to the cooling systems ability to adequately cool the diesel. It pulls pretty awesome till you actually work...
I've had both gas and diesel gladiators. This is strictly my experience. The diesel is tons of fun if you do nothing more than "normal driving". Unfortunately it does not appear they built it to be worked hard (and I do not feel I worked mine hard at all). The temperature issues, the def...
I could be wrong but I was told.....
NO!.....it would have to be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. Fuel systems and emissions systems are not powertrain.
i don't know what jeep wave program you have but only ones i've gotten on both my 2020 and 2021 jt's (one gas/one diesel) was 3 free service's......ie oil changes, tire rotations, etc...... there was no limit per year. and there is no unlimited mileage 3 year warranty. not saying you're...
i've owned both, gas and diesel gladiators. to start with i'll concede that there are likely exceptions to my experience however this is my experience.....
my opinion.......if your plan is basically a lifted daily driver running 37's, the stock diesel will probably leave you with a smile on...
I had the service def system warning messages with mine. They replaced basically the entire def system (tank, lines, pump, heaters, etc.....) didn't have any issues with def warning after that. Mine was lifted with 37's never had any problem with dealer trying to deny warranty or...
I carry a 2" spacer. With the spacer you should be able to run the spare front or rear, though if you have the choice I would run it on the rear over the front.
Daily driving on 37's with stock gears is perfect. If you plan on pulling a largish enclosed trailer/camper frequently I think you'd be happier with 4:10's. By no means do I think its "mandatory" just think having a little more gear is beneficial.
I've never had anything larger than 37's so...
Im sure comparing then and now isn't fair however, about 16 months ago My first sport s had a sticker price of 39 and some change, out the door ended up a little over 31k. I wasn't trading and did have to finance through them but was only "required" to keep financing for 3 months/paymets. Best...
