Sorry....I'm gonna call BS on that unless you have actual data to share.
The initial issue was software related. They tried to fix that and only created more problems beyond the original friction issue leading to damaged clutches. So their recall replaced the clutches with the same clutch and...
Both batteries are new as of this Spring. Alternator is good. Power failure seems to be from the TIPM as the only codes that are thrown are "comms loss with radio". That could either mean a BO TIPM or the recall software flash is incompatible with the TIPM for a 2020.
Otherwise it would have to...
Not sure if anyone is monitoring this thread but my experience with these "fixes" seems to only make matters worse.
The first software flash only reduced the torque and reduced acceleration. It also changed the language from English to another language that could not be changed. So another...
My 2020 JTR is the Gator colour. It gets a lot of head turns. I'm glad they have kind of brought it back for 2025 as I'm looking to trade in the 6 speed for an automatic.
Cheers.
I'm at a loss to understand how a billion dollar company can't develop software to work with their vehicles.
The first software flash back in 2021 permanently reset the language on my vehicle to Croatian. It did nothing to address the clutch overheating. I had to wait a month for them to...
2020 JTR.
First clutch replaced at 49000kms. That clutch replaced with the recall. I have OEM 33's.
Got the first service transmission message 2 days after the recall. Took it back to the dealer and had them reflash the software. All seemed good but never left the city with it. Yesterday was the...
I am trying to get Jeep to meet me halfway on an aftermarket solution. So far no joy. Not sure how Jeep can get away with this. Clutches are not new tech. Certainly not something that should be an issue when you spend $80k on a vehicle.
Centerforce is where I'm going. Had to find a Canadian...
The
The problem for overheating is when you're wheeling. Watch for that.
The software flash did nothing but lose torque. It's a slug when accelerating after the flash.
The Mopar Performance Wipers are a great idea but garbage materials.
I have replaced them once as the hoses crack at the wiper connection in cold temperatures.
Why would they respond to you and not me? If I require an advocate just to get a reply from them then that tells you everything you need to know about their customer support.
Thanks just the same though.
My Oracle experience has not been good. They don't care too much about their Canadian...
I'd like you to solve the clutch issue. Give me back the torque I lost with the software update.
Your performance wiper kit does not last in the cold. Supply hoses snap.
Other than that happy with our 2020 Gator Green JTR. People comment on the colour all the time. Maybe bring back this colour...
How have they "sorted" the clutch issues? I have a 2020 manual JTR on its second clutch. I have the recall but no solution attached to it.
I gave tried to convince Jeep to go halves on a Centreforce aftermarket with no joy.
Can't go wheeling as this clutch overheats in no time.
Ok. The passenger tail light on my first set died. Oracle replaced them under warranty. The same thing has happened in the second set. Passenger tail light and signal do not work.
Is this a thing? Or is it just me?
I have a JScan and disabled the tail light failure function in the CPU.
I know...
I've had the Oracle LEDs on my 2020 JTR for just over a year. Passenger side tail light flickers and some of the LED lights do not work. Is this fixable or are they just junk now?
Looking at other install videos the 2 wire connections are made at the fuse box to the cigarette lighter fuse and whatever other fuse is on when the vehicle isn't running.
I have the OEM switches but have nothing assigned to them. I'd like to use them on at least one thing if this is possible.
