  1. Opinions please... eye appeal, lift for 35" tires on JT Rubicon. Moderate trails

Hi all. I currently have 35" BFG T/A. Tires on a 2020 JTR. Stock, no lift. Looks nice. But I do wish for a little more height. Would a 2" lift like a MOPAR lift be noticeable, or is that only noticeable on Sports and Overlands? I am happy with handling and fuel mileage as is. I am happy...
  2. I can end any rain drought.

Ok now. I took the Freedom panels off for the fifth time in a month. I get caught in some sort of rain shower or squall every damned time I do that. My weather app indicates no rain. Once that top comes off, there will be 30% rain chance. Well I'll be... that 30% is always 100% for me. It...
  3. Just purchased the Clearlidz top for my. JTR

Just purchased it from Quadratek. Gotta wait for June 13th shipping date. Seems expensive, but I am hoping it makes a huge difference in my daily driving experience. Seeing so much more. Any one else on here get one? I looked at the pros for it. Was hoping to see cons, but saw none. I...
  4. Unexpected rise in MPG... freedom panels off.

After a cold icy winter I finally am able to periodically ride around sans the freedom panels. I rode around last fall with out them a few time. Back roads and trails. Slow and just enjoying the top front off and all Windows down, back window open. Never noticed any change in MPG. Now, first...
  5. Saw my first of the new Broncos today.

I was not particularly impressed with the looks. More Explorer ish looking than not. The dolled up JT Sports and stock JTR's and JTM's beat it on looks department. Granted I probably saw a base model, nothing fancy. It wasn't ugly, just seemed same ole.
  6. Jeep model codes... what do they all indicate?

I know JTR indicates a Jeep Truck Rubicon. What do all the others indicate, like a JK, JLU, CJ and what not. Just curious..
  7. Any one else feel break pulse through their aftermarket dead pedal.

I feel a pulse or something like it in my dead pedal when I release the break. It is attached right next to the break pedal. It uses an existing bolt that has a 13mm nut. No rubbing, nothing touches it, the bolt is tight too. Must be what ever the bolt is connected to on the engine side of...
  8. Quadratec dead petal installed.

I bought the Quadratec stainless steel dead pedal. Looks and feels quality. Took all of 5 minutes to install. Easy. One thing I didn't expect. When the break pedal is released, it is felt very noticeable in the dead pedal. Some how the 13mms bolt that connects the dead pedal, touches a...
  9. If you could pick the hood, standard Sport style, Rubicon or Mojave?

I bought a used JT Rubicon, smoking deal. Otherwise I would own a Sport S and do upgrades in time. I would have wanted a Rubicon style hood eventually. I have seen on these threads from time to time folks swapping hoods. While I do think the Mojave hood looks nice... it looks too much Tacoma...
  10. Why did you choose a Gladiator?

My story. Truthfully I was never that Jeep Kinda guy. I had friends and family who were. I was always caught up in the Harley biking scene. Get that Softail as low as I could go. Stretch out forward to a set of straight drag bars. My feet forward, more so than my hands. Looked like I was...
