Yes, plenty of ppl running 35's on stock rims, gotta watch at full turn as you might rub a little bit. Wheel spacers are an option, ive head both good and bad things about running them. I had a set on my JK for a few months before i got aftermarket rims and i would get some death wobble on some...
Skyjacker makes a kit with 3.5 inch springs and 2 inch springs in the rear, not sure about skyjacker as i have no personally used them. Clayton offroad stuff seems really durable and might not sag as bad with the heavy accessories. Plus you could do the spacer afterwards if and when you get...
The shift on the 2 inch mopar lift isnt that bad to require track bars, you can lift and add them later if your not happy with the slight axle shift. If your adding a front bumper and winch your going to get some front end sag, the kit is also set up to keep that factory rake so i would look...
Just poured through all the pages, some great looking Gladiators on here. I do have one question that i might have passed over, with the mopar lift, has anyone had to/ needed to replace the drive shafts? I do very mild wheeling, nothing to extreme.
2021 red willys edition shocks of my gladiator. Pulled at 6k miles. Great shape. Can send pictures. Looking for pick up only, located in Phoenixville PA $100
Update after a few weeks of having the spacers installed, ride hasn't changed, looks much better imo, hardest part was getting the steering wheel back to 100% center. Just scored a set of rubicon fox stocks with 0 miles for under $100, guy bought the truck and had the dealer install the mopar...
I just put the 1.5 spacer on my 21' willys. Looks so much better now imo, I used both that came with the terraflex kit, the full 1.5" and added the mopar 2 inch lift longer front lower control arms. Again, looks great, rides same as stock, I have 3/4" rear pucks to add to give slight rake back...
What about just welding a bar onto the rock rails that can act as a step? I had a shop by me offering to do that, looks good, keeps the stock rail and gives a spot for your foot to step into the jeep.
(I don't have it done on mine just saw as a reference. I'll see if i can dig out the photo of...
Just ordered my teraflex 1.5 spacer and daystar 3/4 inch rear spacer. I plan on ordering some mopar lift lower control arms in the near future while I wait for this ice and snow to stop hitting us in the north east.
I appreciate all the feedback and pics. Some really nice looking jeeps!
I think for the moment my plan is the 1.5 front and 3/4 rear, add some mopar longer arms in the front and search for some rubicon shocks and coils. I don't want to upgrade upgrade 35s until my stock 32 mts are done. I do...
I had thought about Springs, I eventually want to get a full spring lift like mopar or Clayton with fox shocks. I've seen a lot of jeeps here with just spacers and for the 90% highway driving I do now this feels like a good option to give me some wheel well room for the stock 32 MTs.
