Here’s my less than beautiful DIY attempt at simplifying the winch solenoid and aux switch wiring. I used 1/8” ABS board and a Blue Sea terminal block. No issues since installation a year ago.
Less of a mod and more of an accessory…I wouldn’t buy a ROAM case at their asking price again. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise, but IMO it’s far too overpriced for what it is. Plus the accessories for it are even more outrageously priced - $220 for a rack mount and $150+ for a lid...
I recommend the Truck Covers USA retractable tonneau. Amazing quality and customizable with Yakima racks…just gotta get over that hefty price tag! But you definitely get what you pay for. See some details on this thread...
Update for anyone interested in the TCUSA cover and racks…
I purchased the bed cover (without Yakima rails pre-installed) in January and recently purchased TCUSA’s newly released HD rails for self installation. These HD rails allow installation of larger, taller racks (Yakima HD Outpost and...
Looks great! I’m having a similar issue with not finding a solution that fits my needs and am leaning towards building a rack myself. Where did you buy the aluminum extrusion and fittings from (website)? Thanks!

Purchased a tonneau (Truck Covers USA) that is not compatible with the MOPAR Trail Rails. Trail Rails were never used and are in like new condition (truck only has 5k miles). Selling for $250 OBO. Prefer local pickup, but would consider shipping at buyers expense. Located in Wichita, KS.
Edit...
I’ve been overthinking the combo of the RCI or a similar tonneau compatible bed rack with a truck cover USA tonneau. You mentioned minor modifications. What was required?
Thanks! And no worries about the wait, I’m just happy to get some peeks at it on the Gladiator. Also, thanks for the info on LOD’s powdercoating! I imagine someone on the forum has purchased from them recently, so I’ll see if I can’t find some reviews.
Loving the build so far, it’s on point! Any chance you could throw a side-profile pic of the hammer bumper on here? I’m between that and the LOD destroyer stubby and am interested in how far forward the bull bar pokes. Thanks!
