I have a Mojave. My reasoning may not apply based on regional pricing or a sale some place but it worked for me. The Mojave I got and the Sport or Overlands that were available at the time were only about 5K difference. I knew I wanted to run 35s. I was able to sell my tires and put 35s on...
Got it right at 50. I think there is 1,000 cash on all Gladiator models so that 49 on the website probably includes that. I was looking for the black satin grill. Pretty much all of theirs have that.
Community motors in Hammond. With Covid protocols they just tossed me the keys and let me roam around. Their worksheet is pretty clean. The “fees” are all separated so you know what you are actually paying. They don’t sneak extra fees in there and no fake addendums with vehicle protection add...
The dealer I bought from happened to have the buyer like the black satin grill. I couldn’t find one then I found a dealership with 10 that all had it. If I was doing the ordering I think I would have more variety rather than just what I like. Would seem to reach more customers that way. In...
Completely understand there is more to the Max Tow that the gear ratio. Point to adding that is it also has the wider axles of the Mojave and gets closer to an apples to apples comparison.
I just get tired of someone who hasn’t looked at options and goes to a dealership and sees 2 Jeeps, one...
Keep reading people writing that a Mojave or Rubicon is 10K more than a Sport S. Simply not true. The basic Sport with no power package is 10K difference. If you compare a Sport S it’s about 5. If you add the Max Tow to a Sport S to get the 4.10 rear ended the difference is about 4. If you...
I know there are some real trail warriors out there. But any Wrangler or Gladiator on 35/37s will do more than most people will attempt.
I was trading in a 15 Rubicon and had a great trade value so I bought a Mojave so I could slap on 35s with no other mods and have a soft suspension for the...
Despite the dude who is going to post a pic after this post, if you really want to rock crawl don’t get a Gladiator. The departure angle and break over angle is bad. The basic concept of a Gladiator lends itself more to a Mojave. Disconnect sway bar before the trail starts and add a front...
It doesn’t take much to fit 35s on an Overland. If you can trade it and get a good deal then do it. Otherwise just add the Mopar 2” and 35s and enjoy your ride.
Have 35s now. Was just looking to see what the 2” spacer looks like on it. Was looking to get that fender well spacing back after the new tires.
basically lose an inch with the tires and the AEV give you 2. Just wasn’t sure how it would look
This is such a wide question that is rather useless. If someone buys a sport and adds lockers, 33s, spray in liner, bed cover, and new switches, there answer will be 8K in mods. If the next person buys a Rubicon with all of that included on the sticker, they spent nothing in mods.
Worthless might have been a bit strong but when someone spends 1,000 on a bumper and 5 years later that bumper can be bought new for half the cost or used for 250 and they still argue it should be worth 1,000 more, they don’t understand the general market. Vehicles come with tires and rims...
Looking for pics of Mojave (maybe Rubicon) with any size spacer lift and 35s. Sorry for being so specific but have work garage clearance issues and sticking with 35s. Also a 2” spacer on a sport looks different than a Mojave. I am very curious to see pics of Mojaves with anywhere between the...
Anything you replace won’t be under warranty anymore. A dealership can always deny you if they want but some common sense applies too. If you have a 4” lift and try to get front driveshaft warrantied not gonna happen. If you have the same 4” lift and your radio goes out you should be fine...
Haven’t read every post so forgive me. Thought I would chime in as a former Rubicon Wrangler owner and current Mojave JT guy. First thing that jumped out when I read a few early posts is someone saying that a similarly equipped Rubicon is 10K more than a sport. Unless there is some year end...
