I'm left handed and that wedge on the door has torn my old skin several times before I finally took a raspy file and rounded the sharp corners of it. It IS a problem, especially when the gas burps out onto a fresh cut. I believe the wedge is there to align the door when closing it.

Driving my wife's new 4runner home from the dealer on the 87/260, pow, rock hit with not a single vehicle in sight= new windshield. Here in Az. rocks just fall out of the sky or maybe the birds drop them on new vehicles.

I think I'll just check my dipstick after starting the engine and letting it run for a bit, then let the oil settle for a couple of minutes and recheck and adjust accordingly.

I use this on my black Gladiator, If the first application is done properly this stuff works well. Not as good as a pro ceramic coating but then it's only about $15 and some elbow grease.
