  1. Hats !

My daughter bought this one for me. If only she had a bigger budget…need net mesh doors, Sun mesh top and who knows what else!
  2. Hats !

Daughter who bought this for me seems to borrow my Gldiator so much, our grandkids’ names are stored under the visor for when she picks them up at school!

  4. Is this amount of dead zone in the steering normal?

I’ve got the same, stock Willys and when I first drove it, the steering felt a little sloppy. Now, I either don’t notice it or it somehow improved. Even when I drive my wife’s Hyundai SUV and go back to the Willys Gladiator, I don’t notice it. 8 months and 7,000 miles.
  5. Dealership won’t flash the speedometer to match tire size. What now?

Huffines in Lewisville in Dec said $200 and they'd do it.
  6. Texas AMP Bed Step - Broken in 4 months

Mine has the Auto Stop/Start. Wish it didn't. I accidently left an accessory on and discharged the battery. After jump starting it and running it 4-5 times, the Auto Stop/Start icon was lit up on the dash with ! and the button did not function. Took it into the dealer. They said it has a...
  7. Texas AMP Bed Step - Broken in 4 months

    Damn auto-correct...off-roading, not off-tossing!
  8. Texas AMP Bed Step - Broken in 4 months

Oh no! I got their power steps also. On both of them I got the installers warranty too. Double coverage I guess and maybe I’ll need it. So much research to do before buying the Gladiator and the add-ons. I consider myself lucky picking the Willys just because I liked the throwback to a WWII...
  9. Texas AMP Bed Step - Broken in 4 months

I thought it was installed incorrectly also. Only 3 screws doesn’t seem to be an engineering design! I’ll get my new one and this time make sure it’s at least installed properly. Could have some injury liability if they’re not more careful.
  10. Went topless for the first time and found this...

I've only had it since Dec 7 and 3300 miles.
  11. Went topless for the first time and found this...

I took mine in for wind noise at upper right corner of windshield (driver's side) and got it back 2 days later saying it was fixed. Sounded the same or worse and now my wife says she here's more noise from the right side. I know it is a Jeep, but....Taking it back in this week to ride with the...
  12. Texas AMP Bed Step - Broken in 4 months

It ripped out of the step where the 3 (only 3!) screws attach to the step. 4 Wheel Parts in Dallas installed it. They already said they would reorder because I bought their 3 year warranty. And I wonder if they installed it wrong. Using those 3 holes, put the step further toward the tailgate.
  13. Newb from Texas

I've got the Willys edition and it came with 32s MUD tires. The give it a rugged look without being too extreme and not too noisy driving on highway speeds.
  14. Texas AMP Bed Step - Broken in 4 months

Has anybody had issues with the AMP bed step? After 4 months, with tailgate down, I stepped on the bed step and it broke off, with my left leg hitting the open tailgate. Luckily I wasn't hurt, but it could have been bad. It says it's rated for 300 lbs, I'm 160, so that isn't it.
  15. Gasser real world fuel economy

Stock Willys, 3,200 miles, Average 17...mostly city with some highway. I'm not known for being light on the pedal, especially from a start.
  16. Anyone attend Jeep Adventure Academy before?

It says only wrangler/Gladiator Rubicon’s are eligible. Does that mean my Willys Gladiator is not eligible?
