The alpha platform Camaro is a great car, but yes, M lost it's way a long time ago. And I don't really care what you do to it, you can't overcome physics.
I didn't like what is being offered, so I just built what I wanted. A 2800lb car with 400HP to the rear wheels. Sure, it may be a 34...
Great to see so many other cool rides! I have had my fair share of cars and trucks over the years, but this one is special. Have had it for 17 years now. Last major purchase before I got married! I guess it doesn't quite qualify since I still own it and plan on keeping it forever.
Still...
Cool, yeah if you can come out ahead money wise on the -12s, that's definitely something to consider.
For me it was coming out more for doing the -12s and tires. Although I got a good deal on the wheels, I found the tires I wanted in the 285/70/17 size were a lot more that I expected, running...
Just my opinion, but -12 is more than a little aggressive. I am pretty sure your stock wheels have an offset of 44mm. Going to a -12mm is going to push your wheels out 2.2 inches (56mm) from where they are today. I would encourage you to put a tape measure on your truck and see what that...
Where did you purchase your second ECU? Seems like a good option depending on cost. I would guess switching them out is similar to most other vehicles?
That's a really cool area. Just learned about the 1933 Chicago World's Fair homes being there. We try to get up to the dunes every year. That's a lot of Gladiators for a small town!
That's cool, would be interested to see what those look like. I have some stock bullet holes on my F-150. Really like them, just wish they were wider.
Oh and aluminum brightener is very acidic. It did leave spots in some places, but polished right out. I felt like it at least gave me a head...
I am currently working on some wheels for another truck. These were pretty nasty to begin with and still have a way to go. But I started by cleaning them well with Simple Green and then hit them with NAPA Aluminum Brightener. The brightener works pretty well and quickly. Final stage is...
You won't be disappointed, they are excellent shape. Happy to take more pics if there is anything specific you would like to see. Only have them listed here for now. Not looking forward to putting them on CL or FB Marketplace!
I have 5 wheels available. I picked them up shortly after taking delivery of my Gladiator, but have gone a different direction and got some take off wheels. These are in very good condition.
I could only find two blemishes that seemed worth mentioning.
Some of the black is wearing through...
I have used PD on many wheels and the key is coverage as in number of coats. The more coats, the more durable it will be and the easier it can be removed because it will stay together and peal off in one big sheet or at least big pieces. It is incredibly forgiving and somewhat self leveling...
Well, I was going to suggest Fastenal Blue Lane Frieght (https://www.fastenal.com/en/4590/blue-lane-freight). Basically you drop it at your local store and other guy picks it up at his. Not fast, as it travels on their trucks as the routes allow, but can be very reasonable. Have shipped...
