Afraid a bed cover will do nothing to improve your "drag" issue, so no need to rush on that one.
And if you have expectations that a tonneau cover will noticably improve gas mileage, you will be disappointed.
While it's apart, it's a good idea to disassemble the shoe adjuster screw & coat the threads with never sieze. Will prevent it from rusting up in the future creating another pain in the a#* if you ever have to open it up again.
Just wanted you to be aware of the high probability of yellowing before you took the leap.
It's pretty much a one way street, & once the flares are sprayed with the liner, it's not something that will be easily "undone".
I highly doubt that any spray in liner material packaged in a rattle can...
My caution to you before you jump off the cliff is this.
Have you ever seen white spray in bedliners after they have been exposed to weather & the UV from the sun? Sooner or later, most end up looking more piss yellow than white.
