I prefer Radian, Cabot and Nighthawks if we want pure bragging rights. Korth if we want to discuss wheelguns unless it’s a full Bowen or Clement’s customs. But this is a Gladiator forum.
back to the tacoma
it snapped the front CV like an over baked 10 day old taco shell. In my opinion anyhow...
Mine tows as well if not better than every midsize out there right now. It doesn’t have the torque the newer turbo motors have but it did good enough towing my 6200# boat
Besides the auto 4WD, steel bumper, power seats and headliner; not much difference from my 2020.
sounds like a nice package for those that want to check the boxes.
I’ve had mine since Nov 20, 2020. It’s been near flawless. I “requested” the steering box “upgrade” and only true problem was the common rear locker sensor which was fixed under warranty. Other than that it’s routine maintenance, gas and go. This picture was from the first weekend I had her...
Glad I bought my 2020 JT Mojave with just about every option available at the time. Low interest rates, good discount, not near the inflated prices we’re seeing now. It’s almost paid off and enjoying it every smile at a time with me and my 2 boys.
These are “lifestyle vehicles”. Much better...
I have a 2019 242 SE Limited. My 20 JTM will tow it in stock form. It isn’t happy about it but it will do it. My expedition is a much better rig to tow that boat. Nothing you can do will make the Galdiator a great 7K tow rig.
Had a 2013 GM 6.2L spin a bearing while under warranty. Swapped a new one in 3 days. It happens.
lots of debris in the filter when I changed mine at 2500 miles. Cut the filter open. Not hard to do. Been clean ever since. Just normal new engine wear in and circulation picking up pieces caught by...
Speed? RPM? Accelerating, coasting, decelerating? Right or left hand sweep? Hot or cold engine/trans? Where is the sound located? Can you “feel” it?
and yes, it’s frustrating. Mine was the trim on the B pillar over certain bumps while slight turn.
Started with a 2001 TJ Sahara. My boys loved it. Got divorced and consolidated multiple vehicles down to a FS SUV (2018 Expedition). Got into a better place financially and bought my current 2020 JTm. I miss the room and capability of my previous 2016 F150 KR, but I welcome having “my Jeep” back.
IIRC, it’s 48” wide, will be right along the edge of the bed, have to hop the wheel wells and rear tires will barely be on the tailgate. Not a fan.
The dealer and tech are more important than the rhino vs Line X. I prefer Line X and am glad I have a good supporting dealer with great techs. Make sure they mask off ALL factory bolt holes for when you add a rail or whatever
Kicking tires in a new mid size SUV to replace as my daily driver/business vehicle.
I’ve always loved the look of the JGC and had a 2013 with the Hemi. The new 4XE has more HP/Tq than the Hemi did. If true, it should have way more power than the 3.6L.
Looking for real life experiences With the...
I haul my 24’ car hauler with my expedition. Ship weight on the trailer was 2k#. I load it up with my side by side and four wheelers. The wood deck can be customized with tie downs where I want them. Wood is only slick if you let mold grow.
I’ve had sway control on other vehicles and have towed up to 31’ travel trailers with WDH and sway control (Equilizer WDH) without issue. Never had a problem. I also wouldn’t tow a travel trailer of any size without a WDH with sway control.
